嘎利頓小屋酒店(Garleton Lodge)

The experience of staying at Garleton Lodge was exceptional on all levels. David and Angela were super hosts. My golf was set up in advance on challenging courses that were user-friendly. Everything was provided. The evenings were spent in engaging conversation and with exceptional food and beverage choices. Historic sites were minutes away allowing us to relax and enjoy like we had not in years. Many thanks for allowing us to be in the present and great hands. Garleton is a great place to become centered. It is not your typical spa/resort.

From a wonderful choice of Breakfast to quite stunning whiskey before bed our weekend was perfect.Great hosts and a lovely feel. The Quality of the toiletries and Laura Thomas range just right. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Garleton Lodge for any occasion.

So glad we finally booked a stay here. It was just the tonic we needed to relax and refresh from busy lives. The service is second to none. We were thoroughly looked after from before we arrived (with clear communication) to our departure. Our rooms were very high standard and beds super comfy. Views are amazing. Our spa treatments were also fabulous and the products used, left us feeling and smelling so good. The tasting menu is absolutely worth coming back for, even as a non resident. Brilliantly thought out courses, catering to dietary requirements. Breakfast was also of such great quality. We tried to think of many ways to stay longer, even suggesting we fill a vacant spa post () but sadly had to check out. We've stayed in lots of expensive, high end spa hotels and this really does beat the lot. Thanks so much!

David and Angela are the most amazing hosts. I have stayed a number of times, the welcome is always warm. The attention to detail is incredible. The beds are so comfortable and the food is exceptional. It truly was a magical find that first stay and I wish I could get there more often

Although we didn’t stay overnight, my wife treated me to the 6 course tasting menu. I have to say we certainly weren’t disappointed. The food taste and presentation were both excellent and wouldn’t look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. The hosts Angela (who is also the chef) and David described each course and made it a special meal, washed down with a lovely bottle of the house red. Loved the food and the chat and will definitely go back. The dessert was right up my alley !

Excellent little spa retreat and a break from the kids. David and Angela are going excellent hosts. Food was lovely, both the grazing board and the breakfast the following morning. Lovely little break

We had a wonderful welcome and stay at this beautiful hotel. The room was immaculate with breathtaking views over the Firth of Forth with a complimentary whisky in the room for arrival. The breakfast in the morning was tasty, plentiful and obviously locally sourced where possible. My only minor criticism would be that they had an ample continental selection on the menu but no evidence in the restaurant or nothing was offered in the morning. I didn't feel comfortable asking for extras but would have happily helped myself if it was on display. If possible, we will be back in the near future.
