Old property and it shows. Rooms are very small and showers are not up to modern standards. Room was very hot with no real option to cool it down. This is a sizeable property which unbelievably has only one lift - a very slow lift - that seems to spend most of its time being used by staff. Disappointed and won’t use this property again.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely on beach location.Good parking facilities . Pleasant, well-maintained gardens. Excellent pool and spa. Good food albeit dining menus fairly limited in choice. Easy pedestrian access to the nearby charming town centre . Highly recommended and well worthy of repeat visits.

Great stay at the Marine! From the moment we arrived we had an outstanding stay and made to feel so special. All the service was friendly and very attentive. It is a short walk into North Berwick. The spa and pool areas are great, with lots of areas to use and never that busy! The ice baths are a great addition! The lawn restaurant was amazing and the pizzas were fabulous! Very impressed overall, and will be back!! Thank you

First room on arrival was cold and noisy. Underground boiler throbbing in room 104 . Asked to move( no room phone working had to go to reception ) . Given a great sea view room but again very cold . Went out for the day came back late afternoon and room was freezing . No room phone working ( had to go to reception again ). Central heating off agreed to switch it on . Room took 1 hour to begin to heat up . Went for dinner in the hotel - dining room cold - very uncomfortable . Next morning checked out 15/3 but no systems working . Just got final bill today 27/3 . Reported all the issues to management absolutely no contact . Waited for any contact before posting this review - none . Just shocking treatment . Cater for tourists no regard for locals just such a bad experience never stay there again ( this was our third booking ). Think they would make an effort to apologise !!

Happy Vistomer Lovely old hotel with friendly helpful staff, good food and an amazing view out to sea. The room decor was a little tired but that really didn’t matter as the bed, pillows and bathroom were really comfortable and clean.

No heat, unresponsive staff. Windows were very old with gaps of cold air blowing in. Heater was broken and they did not repair it the 3 days we were there so we had a 50 degree room with blowing wind and rain coming in.
