You need a specific mindset to stay at this hotel.
As you might have guessed, the walls are made of bamboo, meaning you can hear every sound in the surrounding area. You will definitely wake up at 4:00 AM to the sound of roosters, and you will hear staff members talking and watching YouTube until 11:00 PM just few meters away.
Since you are staying in the jungle, you should expect a certain level of rustic wear and tear. Older blankets are understandable, but having blood stains and large yellow spots on ripped sheets is completely unacceptable. Not to mention, the light blinks like something out of a horror film and cannot be turned off. There was also a strong toilet odor from the moment we entered the villa. Given the distance to the nearest shops, the hotel provides a paltry 220 ml of water per person and lacks any basic amenities.
Another issue was the food. Despite other positive reviews, both dinner and breakfast were awful. The problem wasn't the local food; it simply felt like they do not know how to cook or even how to properly wash the dishes. Also note that the dining area was partially destroyed, so you need to watch your step around the edges.
On a positive note, the morning view was nice and the location is fairly close to Waterfall Entrance No. 1 and the traditional village.
Overall, we do not recommend this place for staying even for one night. Keep in mind that this property is located far from any local infrastructure, and even driving there after sunset is a major challenge as there are no streetlights or visible signs.
