歐文斯通公園酒店、高爾夫球場&度假勝地(Overstone Park Hotel, Golf & Leisure Resort)

Called in as was visiting the area for a christening and had time to kill. Lovely coffee and lovely freshly made sandwiches. Pleasant freindly staff. I have not been here for 20 odds years but it's still as good as it was. The golf course looked great as well baring in mind the amount of rain we have had.

I don’t normal leave any reviews but after a visit to Overstone arms I was very upset after this shambles. Table booked for 12 at 17.15 ordered on the app a hour goes by drinks arrived to be told it’s a hours wait for food !! The place was empty? So ok things happened 2 hours later after many visits to the counter to ask where is the food is coming it arrived.HAPPY DAYS!! So we asked where the Side dishes was so we could start are meals and we had to show them the order on the app mean while meal getting cold.. Manager comes out and said sorry I will give the family a free desert.. So we finally finish the meal that wasn’t very nice at all very poor cooking. So we sat on the table waiting for it to be cleared eventually we sat outside because we had children and couldn’t move or place are glasses anywhere. So again ordered more drinks at the bar the children was waiting for their ice cream etc told the staff we moved outside for the kids to run about. So no desserts so another trip to the bar to be informed oh thought you left so we disposed of them😡at this time part of the family left because it was now 21.00 hours So at 21.15 the desserts get handed to us in take away dishes by the time we got home warm custard was cold and desserts was dried up. I could understand if the place was full but it wasn’t 😡first time visit and never again. Such a shame because it looked a lovely place Family get together ruin by Overstone Arms CHEERS!!!

THIS IS NO LONGER A HOTEL. ALL ROOMS HAVE BEEN CONVERTED INTO PRIVATE DWELLINGS. It still tries to do weddings and events. The gym and bar/restaurant are open but times are restricted. The owners and TripAdvisor need to update this listing.
