Staffs are amazing. Hotel is a bit old and over price.

Clean and cosy.

Stayed one night. Lovely welcome at the front desk. Room was small and basic but fine for the money. Not a great view out onto a flat roof. All best western hotels have an element of faded charm. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed at the George for work last year. A very pleasant experience. My wife and I needed a short getaway to do a quick recharge and decided on Norwich. The hotel staff were really friendly and relaxed, the room was nice enough, although it is starting to look its age. It is close enough to the city that a walk in is very doable, although after a long day, a bus back is very welcome, with the stop almost opposite. We only had breakfast which was delicious and cooked to order. Really wished we had time to try the evening meals, but as we were in the city, ate there instead. The bar was very well stocked and had a good selection of cocktails on offer. The bar manager was a lovely man, friendly without being imposing. If ever I am in need of a hotel in Norwich, I wouldn’t hesitate to use the George again.

We really enjoyed our stay at The George. Room was large and well furnished. Staff were all fab and very welcoming. We didn't use the bar/restaurant on this occasion, but it was always busy and looked great. We already plan to return.

Great location, pleasant hotel room, didn't rate it excellent because there was mould on the bathroom ceiling but not a lot. Very comfortable room and super relaxing decor in the restaurant. Breakfast was so delicious and plentiful, the staff were very polite and warming. Would absolutely recommend

We had a great stay at the George hotel. The booking and check-in process was very simple prior to arrival. The room was quiet, clean and had plenty of space. Good location to access the centre of Norwich and surrounding areas.

Stay here on a regular basis and it’s superb. Great location, good sized rooms and fantastic restaurant. Really good menu and prices to match.

it was everything i expected, room was of a high quality, tea, coffee & biscuits in a lovely cup & saucer. Bed comfy, climate control easy to use. cherry on the cake would have been to have a smart tv

Lovely welcome and a great hotel. Perfect for getting into the city centre, only a 10/15 min walk
