I left the property shortly after my arrival. It did not reflact description. It did not have safe box deposit although it is in the description. Windows did not have any glass just the mosquito net, so you can hear all the noise since it is very near main road. A/C did not work, just the fan. After I left, despite my apologizing to the owner he sent me numerous messages insulting me.

I had an excellent stay at the lodge, the host ‘crazy man’ as he calls himself works extremely hard to keep the place running effectively. He is the soul of the business - his enthusiasm, kindness and jokes are one of a kind - bringing all the guests together who are staying making the experience even better, he is truly an amazing human. He makes you a filling warm breakfast every morning followed by a delicious fresh fruit platter which sets you up perfectly for your day in Zanzibar. The rooms were clean and effectively mosquito proof - no issues.
