Old but good.. need maintenance it is enough :)

建物が素敵で部屋も広くスタッフの対応も素晴らしいホテルでした。 立地も駅から車で15分、バスターミナルからも徒歩5分程で便利です。 シャワーはお湯と水の繰り返しでしか出なく寒いです。部屋もエアコンが無いので夜は冷えます。 毛布とスリッパがあれば尚良いです。

英国式の朝食やパブもあって、スタッフの対応もとても親切です。客室の設備は古いですが、清掃はとても良く行き届いています。素敵な庭もあり、お手頃価格だったので、もう一泊したいところでした。

Hotel is nestled between 2 large hotels conveniently located and haa the old world charm. The service was decent but being an old building a bit of modernisation wont go astray

Well, what a trip down memory lane...this place had charm and fascinating decor, but was somewhat old and 'creaky'. It was delightful in its quirkiness, the stairs to the snooker room are challenging but worth it, the creaking floor boards under the thin carpet had a certain charm, but the toilet not flushing was a bit of a bummer. Breakfast was delightful, and very welcome, the dining room and staff emitting a real sense of charm. The surprise for me was the proximity to Nuwara Eliya Golf Course. Even if you don't play, I'd recommend a Club Sandwich at the club house on the verandah, and a look through the rooms adjacent. They make a great martini as well. The Hotel Glendowner is within easy walking distance. There are other more upmarket hotels in the area, but this one was quaint.

The place and Staff are awesome. great place to having a quality time with the Family.

Sorry to say, this was my least favorite hotel in Sri Lanka (and the most expensive). The vibes were just weird, and the room did not have a secure lock - unsettling for me as a female solo traveler. It's very loud in the halls (no noise insulation), and dogs will bark outside of your first floor room middle of the night. I probably slept for 2 hours and couldn't wait to leave. There was also a giant lizard in my room just as I was going to sleep. I had a drink at the pub on site and found it to be charming.

Clean room with hot water. Lovely receptionist who welcomed us on arrival and helped us with booking a taxi to Kandy. Only slight negative was it was slightly noisy in the mornings with staff members walking the corridors chatting and prepping breakfast. All in all really lovely place in a great location.
