林登格羅夫酒店(The Lynden Grove)

We absolutely loved the hotel. It’s beautiful inside and out, great service and amazing breakfast. They were very helpful with booking activities and let us stay a bit longer to wait for our car. L

Hôtel de bon standing avec de nombreux services. Le personnel est toujours aux petits soins. Arrivée un peu en avance : ménage bâclé... Par contre restaurant au rez-de-chaussée est très bruyant jusqu'à tard dans la nuit. Demander des chambres en étages élevés

Wir haben im Rahmen einer Rundreise eine Nacht in diesem kleinen Boutique-Hotel verbracht. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und man wähnt sich tatsächlich mehr in einem englischen Landhaus als in Sri Lanka. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber sehr gemütlich, kuschelig trifft es wohl am besten. Bad sehr geräumig, tolles Design. Alles Notwendige vorhanden. Der Service ist top, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Einige Abstriche gibt es beim Abendessen, das war keine kulinarische Meisterleistung, aber durchaus essbar. Das Frühstück hingegen top im Geschmack und reichlich. Zum Entspannen nach anstrengenden Reisetagen ist das Hotel definitiv zu empfehlen, ums Eck gibt es auch einen Supermarkt und eine kleine Shopping-Mall (benachbarte Hotelanlage).

Les chambres sont très confortables, propres..isolation phonique un peu légère cependant. Dîner et petit déjeuner ( sous forme de buffet) étaient excellents et copieux. Personnel très sympathique et compétent Je recommande vraiment ce charmant hôtel

Welcome - Welcome well by the security and the receptionist. Both the receptionist day/night were extremely helpful. Location - Very near to major landmarks in town. Rooms - We had the jacuzzi room so had the privilege of a hot water tub when it was 7 degree outside. The heaters worked well in the room - the linens were fresh and clean and the room was spacious. F&B - the breakfast spread was limited but the chef complied to smallest of our demands. Overall - a beautiful lil property in the center of town, we will surely be back

Please book here the staff location and accommodations were top of the line Rooms are like suite accommodations we only stayed one night but definitely much to do locally could stay 2-3 nights Food service also very good Beds comfortable and hot water showers What makes this place awesome was the staff all of which were extremely helpful

The rooms are nice like in a Boutique hotel. Each room is uniquely designed, the furniture is antique but practical. The kitchen was excellent, you couldn't choose the menu (since we were only two guests). The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is one of the most beautiful places that I've ever seen. the mood of the place, the staffs are so accomodating, courteous and kind. Very welcoming to the point of you would not want to leave the place.. Will surely recommend this place to my friends. Das Lynden Grove Hotel ist ein charmantes und gemütliches Hotel, in dem man das Gefühl hat, statt aus Sri Lanka irgendwo in England zu sein. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und Toilette und Bad waren getrennt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir hatten Dinner im Restaurant. Das Angebot ist weniger landestypisch, eher europäisch bzw. arabisch. Schade. Bedauerlich war, dass dieses Hotel weder Wein noch Bier anbietet. Das war leider nirgendwo ersichtlich. Wir wurden auch nicht beim Check-in darauf hingewiesen. Und das erwartet man doch in einem Hotel. Trotzdem empfehlenswert.
