Beautiful old house and nicely decorated rooms inside. Breakfast buffet was a highlight too. Staff and service also great, but I wish they had mentioned the construction work going on when I booked at the front desk!Throughout the day you hear drilling and scraping and workers were even on my balcony while I was laying in bed (works start at 8:30am). Honestly, for the price you pay, it’s an insult. They should not be charging full price as long as construction works are going on. Or at least offer guests complementary dinner! Failing to warn the guests at check-in and charge the full price (!) is the worst customer service, especially from such a renowned establishment as Jetwing. Very disappointed, since the house itself is lovely.

Jetwing St. Andrew’s is an excellent hotel. The food is delicious, the rooms are comfortable, the grounds are beautiful. ASAP- as sustainable as possible, the hotel leaflet “The butterfly effect” explains it all. There is an organic vegetable garden at the back. The history of the place is interesting, it’s over 130 years old. The staff are excellent. Kelum and Kamal were so helpful, and so was Shashi who worked in the restaurant. Jetwing hotels run many community programmes including “Second careers” and “Jetwing youth development projects” to get middle aged women and young people back into work.

Hôtel avec un style très british. La chambre est grande et donne sur le jardin à l'anglaise ( très bon et très bien entretenu). Belle salle de billard et des petits salons avec cheminé. Le bar est très chaleureux avec sa cheminée. Le diner et le petit déjeuner sont servis sous forme de buffet avec choix international et sri lankais.

Beautiful colonial era hotel in a stunning location. It's a lengthy drive up into the mountains but it is worth it when you arrive at such a location. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the hotel is well maintained. We were in the newer wing and the rooms was lovely. The food was exceptional and catered to all tastes. Particularly loved the bar and a massive shout out to the bar staff whose service was impeccable! Highly recommend if you are considering a trip to Nuwara Eliya!

Beautiful hotel. We had a largish room with king bed and two chairs to sit in and read. The hotel in very old and feels a little tired compared to others that we have stayed at in our 3 week Sri Lankan trip. We really enjoyed our walk in the Horton Plains National Park. The food was ok and we had a little difficulty communicating in English with some if the staff which lead to some mix up with food orders. Overall a pleasant stay.

The hotel clearly has a lot of history. It is an old building with lots of character, but could do with modernising of the rooms and facilities. We had an upgrade on our stay to a duplex room with a second double bed up a narrow set of stairs. The rooms are quite basic and reflect a byegone day. The service is friendly and the staff want to make you feel welcome. The cooking and the presentation of the food for dinner was very good and probably reflects that Nuwara Eliya is where the Britsh came to escape the Sri Lankan heat. Nuwara Eliya is nick-named 'Little London' (which it doesn't look like), a more appropriate name might have been 'Little Surrey'. This is a more afforable option than The Grand in Nuwara Eliya.

Stayed two nights in January 2024 with Family. Beautiful hotel with old charm and cosy rooms which were very clean. The staff including the reception, managers and chefs were so lovely and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fantastic! The dinner was from a set menu which was lovely too. The hotel is close to the Nuwara Eliya town so it is in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. Therefore it wasn’t as quiet as I expected it to be. But overall it was a great place to stay.
