在山頂，面朝國家公園，下面是一大片茶園，國家公園是熱帶雨林，氣候的變化很快，房間裏面還有壁爐，可以讓小黑哥去點上壁爐，餐廳和前台在一起，是個白人老頭開的。

Beau panorama sur la forêt primaire, les collines et les plantations de thé, Balade guidée au départ du site. Bon petit-déjeuner très copieux. Repas du soir type 'cantine', servi par un personnel qui ne comprend pas bien, ni l'anglais, ni le français, ce qui provoque des erreurs de commande entraînant un surcoût, d'autant que le manager, de mauvaise foi, ne veut faire aucun geste commercial, même pour un plat enfant facturé comme un adulte. Le logement était correct mais spartiate (douche défectueuse, prise électrique sortie du mur, ...). Le prix est totalement sufait !

We had drinks here. I would love to stay but we already had reservations. The hotel dog Milo is so sweet. They also have a gift shop. The staff was very professional and attentive. The credit card machine didn’t work when we settled the bill so bring some back up cash.

Nice and comfortable rooms, beautiful view of the mountains and tea plantation from the room, fireplace in the room was a nice touch especially since it got quite chilly at night, showers had good pressure and hot water, traditional dance on our arrival was fun and entertaining, food was good with huge portions, I really enjoyed the pasta with homemade sauce which the owner said was his Italian grandmother’s recipe,staff and owner were friendly and attentive, Wi-Fi only in dining area but it was really fast and some do the best in Rwanda, I would definitely stay here again.

It was an extremely unpleasant experience. The manager with French roots had an arrogant attitude towards non-French customers. The kitchen was exceptionally slow and had a poor menu. The servers are a bit lazy and ignorant of table manners. The rooms are dirty, the lamps are broken, there is no hot water pressure, the toilet flush box is broken and the wifi is only in the restaurant but not at night. The prices are abnormally high for this mess.

Amazing views, good food, and an excellent location. We booked two cabins with fireplaces. Beds were warm and comfortable. Bathrooms were a little odd, but they were clean and there was hot water and good lighting. You could also have a cabin without a fireplace or tents. There is a fire pit and a restaurant. They also offer room service. The restaurant was very good, but they make (and sometimes source) as ordered, so feel free to order your meals ahead of time, e.g. "We will eat dinner at 8:00, here is our order." before you leave for the day. Otherwise, expect about an hour to hour and a half to prepare the meal. The restaurant is comfortable with a tv and fireplace. WE didn't mind the wait. The food was very good. And our family enjoyed the hot chocolate. There is no wifi in the rooms and they were having some issues with the wifi in the restaurant, but hopefully that's resolved. We weren't there to be connected anyway. The location is great for visiting the park as you are right on the edge. It's about 40 minutes to the park entrance.

We had a lovely stay here! The manager is friendly and provided us with good information about nyungwe and surroundings. The rooms were good, hot water and the view is amazing! Also very quiet nights, we felt like part of nature. Breakfast was good, tasty and plenty! Dinner takes some time (as usual) but is good and a fair price! We would definitely recommend!

It is true that this lodge is strategically placed. Ecological, I would not call it. (Plastic bottles, individually wrapped soap in plastic, plastic brushes,...) Our stay here was not great. Communication beforehand was not fluent: difficult to get clear answers via email, had to call, ... The rooms are basic and a bit run down. The matras was the only good thing. Food was not good. This place can be nice with a group as there are places to sit/chat/ foosball/ bonfire. Has a nice view of the forest, but that's all.

Rooms are at the top of a steep walkway, which was a challenge for our grandmother! Comfortable cabins, beautiful views, excellent service. We had our meals brought to our cabin to spare grandmother the steep walking path. Great tour of the tea plantation, thank you Josie! Buy the local Nyungwe honey from the little shop just down the road!

It started with the surprise at the arrival, that you have to pay 100% of the price for two nights before you can even see the place you booked. This very unusal rule should've warned us that there will be problems and we may want to leave earlier. Only after we paid up everything in advance we discovered that we were not entitled to hot water. We booked the big safari tents and as they were very expensive we thought that they would be the sort of luxurious safari tents. They were not. They have two nice beds in the tent but no light, no electricity to charge your phone for example. The toilet and shower which only have cold water and faulty light bulbs are a good walk away. The path that leads to them are covered by sharp stones loosely scattered on mud and the whole area is a construction site. On our complaint we were offered to use the bathroom of one of the houses which were even further away. It was a good remedy but we felt like as it was a special gesture from the big boss even though it was just a basic neccesity of hot water and lit up toilet for the 125 USD we paid for three people per night. Nobody else stayed in the lodge except for the construction workers and us. The restaurant had a fireplace but it was still cold sitting there in the evenings. They lit up the fire too late for the place to warm up. The weather was cold and it rained a lot so we did not enjoy our stay in this pricy overvalued construction site. I have to note that some of the local staff were very kind and the food was good although the sight of a rat running on the top of the kitchen wall was not very pleasing. It is understandable if a hotel does construction works in low season but it should warn in advance and compensate the guests for all the inconvenience and ugliness it entales. Instead of this they simply asked for full payment in advance which is simply outrageous. It was our worst experience during our 10 days in Rwanda.

Nice lodge near the entrance of Nyungwe National Park. Very friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. I camped on the premises and they let me use the shower and toilet in one of the rooms. Even looked after my dog when I went hiking in the NP. They’re doing renovation on the bar so that was out of use when I was there.
