Pleasant stay. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable

I have stayed at this place before and I am sorry to say that the quality of the service and rooms have not been maintained as before. The upper lock on my door was broken. Veneer is peeling off the cabinets. There was NO coffee at the breakfast, which is not acceptable. Breakfast choices did not include any fruit. It wasn't a terrible experience overall, but disappointing.

I had been on a week long trip and the Sleep Inn was the second nicest hotel I had stayed in. The room and bedding were particularly nice and the room used for breakfast was clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient for a visit with my family in O'Fallon. However, I don't think I received all the reward points for my stay. I looked at the account today and I believe I only got credit for one days stay rather than three. There was no place on the website to follow through with an inquiry about this loss of points that I could find.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been traveling and staying in hotels. I honestly would rank this hotel second best out of the 5 hotels I’ve recently visited. Overall the experience was good. They didn’t charge me a deposit, and the rooms are really good for the affordable price. The facility is clean and quiet. The free breakfast was good. The bathroom in my room was spacious, and I liked all the toiletries they provide; other places have been cheap with their toiletries. The location is right off the highway with restaurants within walking distance. The area is safe and clean. It’s about 30 minutes from downtown St Louis. What could have made this stay better was that the front desk staff was not very personable or engaging. There was nobody at the front desk to greet me when I arrived. The lady that checked me in was not friendly. She gave me the perception that I was more of a bother than a welcomed guest; her attitude came off as she didn’t really want to be there or she wasn’t having a good day or she was tired. Nevertheless, it wasn’t the best check in experience. Also, the facility could have been more modern. The elevator was slow and noisy, and the room A/C was still controlled by the unit, not by a wall thermostat. The room was warm when I walked in even though the A/C was on 72 but cooled down quickly when I put it down to 60. The experience overall was good and reasonably priced. Just a few things could have been better in order to get an excellent rating.

It started off okay and they immediately notified us they were short staffed and the room would not be cleaned daily. After three days we requested the room be cleaned and we were told it would be that day or the next. Late the next day we asked again and were told 'absolutely tomorrow'. Same result the next day and on day six I came out early and told person on duty It was going to be today. Late that day I again went to the front desk and was told no one was available to clean the room but they could give us some clean sheets and we could change the bed linens as they did not know how. This of course begs the question how did you get to twenty plus years old and not know how the make a bed. Whoever owns this hotel needs to get off his dead butt and hire some people. One of the people there told me I rented a room and that servicing the room is complimentary and they simply did not have enough people. What kind of BS place did I pay for?

It was the first time that I felt so bed while I stayed. I booked big room but I couldn't stay that room with smoke smell. They arranged another room but it was so smaller than I booked. When I asked them same size room but they suggested to refund, but I couldn't that offer because I couldn't find another hotel on that day. I couldn't get the room service to change the sheet for four nights. On third day, I asked them changed sheet, but they didn't do it because only one worker did work on that day. They promised they will do it next day. But I couldn't get the service agian. When I asked about what happened is that. The front desk worker said they didn't have chance to do it because only two worker worked on that day. Finally I did pick up the sheet and pillowcases, and I did change it by myself for last night.

We arrived later than planned. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. We were reassured that our roof bags would be safe over night. Great place to stay! We will be back.

Quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast. Had some problems with shower leaking. Covered neck of shower head with a washcloth and that worked well. Overall a nice facility

The front desk help was sub par. We did not feel they were professional. Gum in mouth, very non inviting. I felt like i was bothering them by checking in.

Comfortable beds. Clean. There is a very yummy pizza place called "Max's" within walking distance that I would highly recommend.

We found this hotel to meet our needs. Breakfast had lots of choices. The food was warm and presented well. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

We were just passing through the area & needed place to sleep. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Quiet for sleeping.

Very nice guy to greet us. Location great. Only slight glitch with room key not able to open outside door into hotel .
