We came from different hotel in Colby which looked terrible. This owner welcomed us and gave us decent price. Office, car park, laundry, room and bathroom were super clean and we slept very well. Beds have additional blankets. The quality of bedding towels are fantastic Also you will find decent size TV and Dove shampoo, shower gel and conditioner in the bath. One thing might be misleading is the sign 😆 ww were unsure of why it looks like it's a ADULT MOTEL it's accra really nice place. Highly recommend!!!

We stayed at this motel on our trip across the USA. As there was very few options we chose this location based on reviews. The room was neat and tidy We had a comfortable night sleep. No parking fee. Budget priced and would recommend if needing overnight accommodation.

Could be great, could be an epic mid century experience, but needs major work on the tile in the shower, had a nasty stained chair etc. The outside needs some TLC, The room WAS clean, the beds very comfortable, and the manager was exceptionally nice. If someone invested in this place it would be a fun, quirky place.

We booked this accommodation online whilst still home in Australia, based purely on the retro 'Annie Oakley' sign. We were on a road trip from Denver to Cincinnati and had planned to stay in Oakley, so how could we not stay here? Although it is an older motel, the rooms were very clean, the beds were large, and the rooms had all the amenities you could need. Oakley was a lovely town, and we had a great time here.

We booked our room online, forgot which travel site we used. We had a party of 6, 2 adults and 4 small, young children. When we arrived at 11:30 at night, everyone exhausted, the front desk guy denied us the room when I told them how many. It was a supposed fire code violation and the app did not limit our registration total. When I asked for a resolution he didn't offer one. Frustrated, I realized they a bigger "deluxe" suite that slept at least 6. We paid an extra $51.76 for this room and crashed for the night... Upon getting settled with 4 over tired kids, I saw the depicted sheet situation. They actually looked clean and crisp but had fresh "makeup" (I'm hoping) on the one, and what looked like a dirty stain on the other. Two separate beds?! When I brought this to the attention of the front desk guy, who I already wasn't excited about, he seemed dubious, said the room had been serviced and seemed to indicate that I should deal with it! I replied, that clearly someone on staff screwed up and to give me new sheets. We had to walk to the laundry room, at which point I pointed out the wrongly parked truck, since it was right there. He didn't seem to care about that either. Shifting back to the room, let's just say, the place sure had a lean to it. The ceiling was a bit low and the transition from the bathroom back to the main room was met with a hidden "ramp" underneath the carpet. NO, there was no ramp, but the floor sloped in an extreme sense! Interesting. The room had very little natural light and had that smell of the spare room at your grandma's house that NO ONE uses and if they do, they try not to think about the obvious previous water leak that likely was barely fixed and with minimal subsequent water damage mitigation. That's my assumption. Based on having dealt with this personally in previous managed properties. So after a quiet and mostly restful night (AC window units used to provide both cooling and white noise), we quickly got showered and packed up. The kitchenette was a nice option, feature, which we may have used if we stayed longer, although cleanliness would be FOREFRONT on my mind after the sheet incident. The bathroom was decently sized, equipped and the shower met the need. Ironically, upon checking out I connected with an over-sized load scout who indicated that she always stays there because it's simply the BEST option in the immediate area. My internal dialogue questioned that if THIS is the best, then what are the other places like?!? Maybe my standards were too high, but in conclusion, I might actually decided to stay here again, mostly based on that road-weary backroads expert. Sure she smoked like a chimney and the interior of her quad cab dually pickup looked like the back door of a shifty convenience store at shift change after a VERY busy day, (imagine a ton of crap staged for removal to take to the trash, recycle bin as well as new inventory arriving!), but I'd take her work over any

I travel often was was pleasantly surprised by how amazing this motel was! Truly one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed and I will be stopping here again in the future. The man who checked me in was very kind and I had a nice, newly renovated, room on the street side. I loved being able to park outside my door but not worry about safety since the town looked well kept. I had no issues with street noise. This place is worth the ten minute drive from the interstate! I enjoyed being in the center of town in walking distance to shops and restaurants. It’s also about a 30-45 minute drive to Monument Rocks and Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park.

This cute little motel is not at all "run down." In fact, it's GREAT. The spotless rooms have been updated with many modern amenities. You'll appreciate the crisp linens and comfortable beds too. The owner is especially proud of the towering "Annie Oakley" sign out front. He's also made a point of preserving the vintage pastel bathroom tiles and plumbing fixtures. Great save! Did I mention CLEAN? You bet. The Annie Oakley is a real slice of Americana. Far more fun than staying in a boring hotel chain. Cheaper, too. Highly recommend.

The room is lovely. Smallish, but very clean. The parking is adequate for a big trailer. The rates were competitive for the area. The staff member was very nice and gracious since we got in after 9pm. I would recommend and stay again if I ever came back here.

Had a reservation here, confirmed, for two adults and a note to the property manager that we have a pet. When we arrived we were simply and unceremoniously told by the young lady at the front desk that they had no more pet friendly rooms. "But we have a confirmed reservation with a pet"...Answer: We have no more pet friendly rooms. What good did it do us to reserve a room? Answer: How is that my problem? Overall just very rude, uncaring and totally unprofessional. Shoddy business practices and a bad experience. Of course I'll never attempt to stay here again and neither should you. We went to the Kansas Country Inn and got a better room with a free breakfast. Stay at the Kansas Country Inn instead.
