古格霍夫酒店(Hotel Gurglhof Superior)

Wir haben das Hotel mit dem Angebot Bergfreunde im Februar gebucht und waren davon ausgegangen, ein dann auch entsprechendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis vorzufinden. Leider sind wir vom Zimmer im 1.OG (was aber ein gefühlter Keller ist) sehr enttäuscht und können das nicht weiterempfehlen, da es deutlich bessere Zimmer gibt. Das freundliche Personal und der Service kann das nicht aufwiegen und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis retten. Wir können das bewerten, da wir mehr als fünfzig Mal Urlaub im Schnee gemacht haben. Jedem empfehlen wir vorher nachzufragen, wo der Gast (auf Nachfrage wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es automatisch passiert) eingebucht wird. Schade das wir nicht wiederkommen werden. Karl und Sabine

Highly recommended. Staff brilliant and made this place. Food lovely with lots of choice. Vibe relaxed. Adult sauna wonderful. Really glad we stayed second gone back. One idea … pool too full of kids to enjoy after a ski ( feb half term): adults only time later would be great .. not all half termers have kids!

The most amazing stay! Daniel has been the most incredible host and tended to our every need. I have allergies which has not been a worry this holiday with Daniel looking after me. Daniel along with the rest of the team including Samuel , Nora , Mark , Zsannett , viktoria , Gergo, David have been absolutely remarkable.

Yet again the most amazing holiday. We can’t thank Daniel and his team enough for looking after us so much. We will be back next year , we cannot wait to come and see Daniel and team again. The food is always incredible and unbelievable service. Thank you gurglhof!!

Superontvangst met heldere uitleg van het personeel. Valet parking en de bagage werd naar de kamer gebracht. Restaurant meer dan prima met fijne bediening (Marcell from Hungary). Kamers zonder veel poespas en ruime badkamer. Afstand tot de lift bedraagt ongeveer 300 meter maar is te overzien. Wellness was mooi maar niet gebruikt. Ook een avond entertainment met live muziek!

An exceptional hotel. All staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble - I was injured so needed some extra cushions etc. The food is amazing with meat, fish and vegetarian choices every night. The access to boot/ski rooms and outside is so simple and close to the lift. Such a good hotel we are hoping to go back. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

We have just booked into the apartments and our package includes access to this hotel. Reception were not aware of the package and seemed to pull a negative face whenever we asked a question. We tried to get an early supper tonight and again were made to feel a nuisance. Lots of pained faces! Then they declared they were fully booked. Thankfully we walked up the road to PicNic who couldn’t have been more welcoming and tge good a delicious Austrian delight!

I was very impressed with this hotel, everything was easy. The room, location next to the slopes and the hire shop, food was very good, I especially liked the 3-5pm buffet but breakfast and dinner also very good meaning you didn’t need to have lunch on the slopes. The spa was excellent. All staff were very good and a special mention for Anita who was very helpful throughout.

Having skied in Obergurgl for many years we decided to try the Gurglhof, we have stayed in many of the hotels here, but can safely say this hotel is up there at the top! Everything was perfect and every member of staff we came in to contact with were excellent, our room was spotless, with an excellent bathroom, breakfast dinner and afternoon tea were all first class, in fact it was probably some of the best food we have had in a ski resort, huge thankyou to all the brilliant staff, but especially to Andras and Gorg (not sure of spelling!) who looked after us superbly at breakfast and dinner, you are a credit to the hotel and to the industry. It’s also worth mentioning that the hotel is perfectly situated for skiing, literally a 2-3 minute walk.
