This was our favorite place to stay in Mississippi. All the stuff was amazing and beyond helpful, and it was the most beautiful property ever. Everything was clean and decorated up and immaculate. The staff was so far above average! . We will tell everyone we know about this place.

Perfect stay for us. We had never been to Mississippi before and on a quest to visit all 50 states we found Ocean Springs and The Roost. Both perfect choices for us. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Highlights of the hotel are the heated pool and the Wilbur Bar. The staff was really amazing as they bent over backwards to meet our needs. Another bonus is that is is a very quick walk to the center of town in one direction and to the beach in the other.

We had a great stay! We stayed with college friends for three nights. Ocean Springs is a wonderful place, and the hotel is great! We had a huge room. There is also a cool little bar and a swimming pool. It's an easy walk to the downtown area. The staff was very accommodating.

Rooms were fine. Nici at the bar was an excellent ambassador for the area and a wonderful host!! We enoyed learning about the area from her and the location of the hotel was great for walking to restaurants, art galleries, etc. If you are new to the area, we recommend.

This was our first time to stay at The Roost. We stayed in the Monarch Suite not knowing that it backed up to the front desk. We could hear them talking, opening and closing of closet doors, people entering the front desk area, etc. The first night of our stay, someone left the music on all night and we had a hard time sleeping. We told the front desk the next morning and there were no issues the next night. EVERYONE we came into contact with were super nice. The shower was huge and the tub was big enough for 2. We wish they would have breakfast on site. The room did smell a little musty. We would come back but just stay in a different room.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting a friend in the area. We adored this hotel and really enjoyed the grounds, pool, and outdoor seating areas. I would highly recommend this place for couples seeking a getaway or for a girls’ trip. It was beautiful, clean, and close both the beach and all the attractions/shops in downtown ocean springs!

Our first visit to The Roost was in May of 2024 and we are headed back for our fourth stay soon. We fell in love on our first stay. It is a boutique hotel and has all the amenities you could ask for but also is so quaint and welcoming. The heated pool is amazing, the outdoor fireplace, lighting and the setting of the entire place is so relaxing. Most of the time I don’t feel the need to leave the property very often. There is great shops along Washington which always makes for a nice stroll and the beach that is only two minutes away has the most beautiful sunsets. Also there are many great places to eat close by. Lastly I do have to mention the staff. They are so friendly and hospitable. I always enjoy seeing them again. They are very helpful with any questions you have about things to do, recommendations or to just chit chat. Oh and did I mention the rooms are just as wonderful. Denise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Roost. It was so peaceful and charming and the staff was attentive. The Roost is just a few blocks from downtown Ocean Springs, which is a delightful town with great restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend the Roost!

The Roost was a delightful and restful place to stay. As advertised, it is within walking distance of both downtown and Front Beach. Beds were comfortable, staff was cordial, and I loved the architecture. A special treat was the chic heated pool. One word of advice: there is no elevator to the second floor, so if you have heavy luggage or issues with stairs, you may want to book a room on the first floor.

The large rooms are beautifully designed, featuring spacious balconies that offer stunning views overlooking Porter. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The huge bathrooms add to the sense of luxury, providing ample space and modern amenities. The hotel staff are notably friendly and attentive, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Cleanliness is a priority at The Roost, with every area meticulously maintained. Overall, The Roost Hotel is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a high-quality, comfortable stay with convenient access to downtown attractions.

This is a lovely place to stay in Ocean Springs. Quiet location and nice pool and grounds. The room was large and had a refrigerator. Very nice spacious bathroom and shower. Enjoyed sitting on front porch in the evening. Walkable to restaurants and shops.

Our second time at this property. It is a beautiful and peaceful boutique hotel. The service is wonderfully friendly. The rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated. We LOVE the pool. It is small , peaceful and beautiful. They have amazing drinks from the bar. We brought our children this time and they loved it as well.

This is a charming little boutique hotel. The property is just gorgeous and although there are little creeks when walking on the hardwood floors, it really is a joy to be in such a quaint little hotel. The outside grounds are so inviting and comfortable. There's little nooks and crannies you can indulge yourself in. I literally sat by the heated pool, looked up at the beautiful trees and felt like I was in heaven. Minutes away from downtown Ocean Springs MS.and the best restaurants and bars, this location can't be beat. It is also just a short drive to the casinos in Biloxi & a short walk to the Gulf Coast beach. Looking to escape from the hustle & bustle of the everyday life that can clutter your mind? Choose this hotel & relax your mind, spirit and body. I want to personally thank the entire staff including owner Joe, and Cheryl at the front desk. You guys rock. My wife & I truly enjoyed our short stay and would love to come back for a longer visit someday.

Excellent experience at The Roost. Lovely reception at check in and informative escort around the property. Perfect location. We stayed in the "older" part and it was still excellent. A glass of "welcome" beverage was much appreciated upon arrival. Would definitely go back.
