森林湖濱修道院酒店(The Monastery at Forest Lake)

What a fun night away! Loved the historical significance and details. The host was amazing, knowledgeable and friendly; he gave us a great tour and made us feel right at home. Will definitely be coming back...and can't wait to show the kids the wedding venue!

A great place to stay. Although I did not see any Monks, our room (the Hide Away) was very nice, with a lake view and a cozy, comfortable bed. The room was clean and everything worked. The host was informative and helpful with suggestions of nearby restaurants. The other staff was friendly and helpful; the breakfast was excellent. The location on the lake was relaxing with plenty of areas to relax near the water and watch the ducks. After watching the ducks the large hot tub was available. The Monastery felt like a rural estate but its location was near museums, the zoo, and other entertainment areas. We will come back to see some of the other places in the city and relax at the Monastery At Forest Lake.

After the stress of planning a wedding, a getaway here was just what we needed. The place is so peaceful and beautiful it’s hard not to feel 100% relaxed while you’re there. Breakfast was so great and homemade. The pool and hot tub were also really nice, both were open 24/7. We also went out on the paddle boat and it was a lot of fun! This is the perfect place if you want it to feel like a get away of “just you two”. But it’s also really well connected, just a 10-15 minute drive to downtown OKC. I discovered this beautiful B&B while searching for wedding venues. Matthew is a terrific host. From the first contact he was pleasant & enthusiastic. He has a vast wealth of knowledge about the history of the property. After touring the property, I knew this was the perfect wedding venue I had been searching for. The bridal suite was beautiful. It has a gorgeous view of the lake & is very peaceful. The bed is very comfortable. The groomsmen’s cottage was a wonderful amenity to have access to as part of the wedding package. The breakfast provided in the morning is delicious as well. There is also a heated pool & sauna to enjoy as well.
