Very rude front desk staff. Its morning strict 10 am check out no flexibility will be extended at any cost. Not recommended at all. Very good infrastructure spoilt by people. You must make 100% payment first. Food here is the worst. Even staff don't like it. Servings are so small that's not even enough for kids. Take Hotel Darshan if you want to spoile your holiday.

Rooms are good. Location is good. They do have a parking facility as well as elevator in the hotel which I did not expect. The breakfast buffet at the fourth floor is also sufficient , not ***y options like 4-5* hotel buffet but good enough mixture of north and south Indian food with good taste. Location is also good just in front of the ooty lake and the best part was they had a in-house theatre as well where they play a new movie everyday which I have never seen in any hotels. So overall its an amazing hotel and value for money. It could also be a bit overpriced if you book last time like me where I paid 5k for a room which I believe in was worth 3-3.5k per night for two. So prices are definitely at the higher end which depends on the time you visit there and when are you booking.

Dirty room and bathroom. Unfortunately, when I was there at ooty, it was Ramadan holidays and made full payment before checking in and was unable to move out of this dirty hotel. Check my real photos of the dirty room I captured on the same day I checked in. Very bad customer service.

Very nice hotel and nice House keeping staff and Chef for breakfast. Vishal made fabulous Dosa and Alkesh took good care of us. The only thing they need to improve is there Ala carte menu for Lunch and dinner.

It is the nice hotel with reasonable budget for family as well as friends. It is located near by lake.Everything is ok. especially their complementary breakfast . it is very tasty. only the problem is, they are not cleaning room every day.

It is an average hotel. Honestly speaking the first impression at Hotel Darshan was 'naam bade aur darshan chhote'. Considering the ratings and the price I had paid for the hotel, the expectations were higher. Check-in was not very smooth as the person at the front desk seemed to not know much of Hindi/English and for 5-10 minutes there was no one to carry the luggage. The Hotel exterior is nice. The rooms are spacious and the furnishings are ok. Premium Lake view rooms have a balcony and one can clearly see the famous Ooty lake from there (though as the water is not clean, it isn't a great sight). The Hotel does have parking space and also has a lift from the 1st floor. Hot water (at least in the 6th floor rooms) is not available 24×7, though it is available in the morning. The hotel doesn't score high in cleanliness whether it is the towels and beddings, the plates at the buffet breakfast or the Hotel common areas, the cleanliness would not give you the impression of a star hotel or justify the money paid. The buffet breakfast provided is average in terms of variety and quality. Plastic bottles are banned in Ooty, so the Hotel doesn't provide mineral water but they have Aquaguard in the rooms. Bathroom fittings need some repair. Also they take refundable deposit for providing blanket to the driver. Overall our stay was average but after exploring Ooty for a few days, one gets a feeling that Ooty doesn't have too ***y great hotels in the 3-4 star category (though there are a few 5 star hotels which may be good), so it may still be one of the better options in Ooty.

Its one of the best hotel in the town. With great view and facilities. Specially Mr. Mohan, he is very helpful and jolly person. We checked in the last minute and he helped us with the best price. ❤️🙂

June 16 hotel Darshan...good hotel with neat and helpful staff. Food at hotel is top notch both quality and taste. it is better than A2B and other hotels we tried. near to boat house and pleasant stay. recommend for family , especially with kids

Hotel Darshan at Ooty is suitably located with a grand lake view. The ambience of the hotel is great since it is a little away from the city crowd. The rooms and the hotel as a whole is very neatly maintained. Although it is a vegetarian only hotel, but the food is quite good and delicious. The place in the hotel to like most is the roof top restaurant where the daily breakfast is served. The staff is well-behaved and smart. The only concern to me was the travel desk, which, I felt, is not up to the mark.
