This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. 1. Everything Costs Extra Need a heater? That’s extra. Want a wood fire to stay warm in freezing temperatures? Also extra. They’ll nickel-and-dime you for basic necessities that should already be included. Total money trap. 2. False Advertising What you see in the pictures is not what you get. The rooms are outdated, poorly maintained, and look nothing like the polished images they use to lure you in. It feels like bait-and-switch at its finest. 3. Zero Service Standards We asked for blankets. Waited over 2 hours. Nothing. Had to walk all the way to reception late at night and demand them before anyone moved a finger. Their response? Cold, careless, and completely unprofessional. 4. Shocking Levels of Negligence A *** urinated right outside our room. We reported it, and the staff acted like they cared. Said they’d handle it in the morning—then did absolutely nothing. No cleanup, no sanitation, just ignored like it never happened. Utter disregard for basic hygiene and guest experience. Hotel Lakeview is a disaster. Poor service, false promises, and a complete lack of responsibility. Avoid this place unless you’re okay with being ignored, overcharged, and treated like a nuisance instead of a guest.
