喜悦酒店度假村(Delightz Inn)

Inspired from videos in social media, I enquired this resort for a stay of 2N. Mr. Ajith gave me different options and suggested to take a villa instead of rooms, such that 12 people could be accommodated. It was cost efficient and also helped us to be at home. The resort is located at a beautiful hill top with nice views. So, apart from the rooms at the resort (main building), they also have 2 duplex villas (bit down from the main building, ~200 meters). Each of them can easily accommodate 10 to 12 adults. We took the bigger one of two which had a covered parking, 3 bedrooms (plus extra beds if needed), 3 single beds, Dining, kitchen and a small garden behind. At night, we had a complimentary bonfire just for us at the villa gardens and there was a caretaker who made all the arrangements. Lunch and Dinner are made to order, prepared in the kitchen at main building and delivered at the villa. The staff are very kind and they did the best to take care of our needs throughout the stay. Buffet Breakfast is served at the main building (outdoor setup) and we had to go there every morning. We took a parcel for senior citizens at villa. The restaurant ***ager always went an extra mile to make sure that food packed is hot. Food quality and quantity through out was good and sometimes was customized as per our requirement. Since the villa is bit away, food delivery or housekeeping becomes a problem. Food has to be ordered atleast one hour before and most of the times, it took more than that to get delivered. Though the food / Coffee delivered comes in a hot pack, it doesn't not serve the purpose. Housekeeping is not readily available and it takes time. There is no intercom and the mobile lines are always busy. These are some of the operational issues, if taken care, definitely increases the quality of stay. As I said before, they do not have a restaurant and as a result the food is always served / delivered at rooms. Note: The bedroom in the top floor (accessible from entrance of the villa), does not have attached toilet. The 2 bedrooms in the basement (lower floor) had attached toilets. For senior citizens, this might be a factor to think before choosing this villa. Apart from this, the villa itself is good. Has clean towels and blankets. Regardless of these difficulties, I found the location very good (away from the city noise) and the temperature bit cooler than the city. The staff was very kind and always willing to help wherever possible.

The altitude of the resort is so high there is atleast 3degrees lower than Ooty. We as a family of 4 stayed for 3 nights. The package included Breakfast and Dinner. The first impression of the view from our room was jaw dropping. The cleanliness of the Hotel and the Service oriented nature of the staff is worth mentioning here. The food is the best I have had in any resort in Ooty Mr Ajith and Ms Kavitha at the reception are very courteous and we'll informed to answer any questions. Mr Ramesh the ***ager of the property is very humble and respectful to all the guests. A gem of a person. The F&B ***ager Mr Balasubra***iam is doing a tremendous job of serving the guests tasty food. His never say no attitude is very rare to come by. The house keeping ***ager Mr Mekail Mondal is the behind the scene *** who keeps the property spic and span all the time. Thanks to the whole team for a superb experience.

Ooty trip- Delightz Inn Resorts - Apr 30, 2023 to May 02, 2023 for our 10th Wedding Anniversary Celebration with our 2 little infant kids Sridhama and Sowbhagya. It was an awesome and memorable stay here. Enjoyed everything here to the core. All the arrangements here were absolutely fantastic. Right from welcoming us till the send off, they took complete care of us. We loved all the people associated here who are absolutely supportive of you. The rooms were aesthetic and excellent, well maintained, beautifully and neatly maintained washroom and bathrooms to add on top of it. The food here right from the complementary breakfast, sumptuous lunch and dinner that we had here was absolutely tasty and yummy, kudos to their chef in particular who took extra care to ensure our kids get the right meal all the time. I would only recommend them to have ponni raw rice in their menu for pure vegetarian people like us who find it difficult to have boiled rice especially our kids. Had some issues in power supply and wifi connection on 01st May night with no current supply for some 4 hrs due to some power back up maintenance which the problem was resolved only the next morning, thought that was not some major fault of them. The decorations made in our room with roses and balloons for our anniversary cake cutting was simply so so special,awesome and absolutely beautifully done and our kids were happy to play with. The 1/2 kg cake was just so so tasty and yummy which our kids enjoyed completely. Overall an absolutely fantastic and memorable anniversary stay which we just cannot forget in our lifetime. Don't think you would find such a hospitality anywhere else. Kudos to the entire team Delightz Inn. You ensured that we enjoyed a happy holidaying at ooty for sure. Only one flaw which I should point to see if they get it sorted out was providing rooms for stay of cab drivers which unlike other Resorts is missing here. If you go in your own car, your drivers are bound to have tough time. Hopefully they have it when we visit them the next time around. Property is neat and nice. Had good stay. All the staff members are good and professional. Breakfast was extremely good. The Restaurant ***ager Mr. Balasubra***ian is very courteous and gone extra mile to serve our desired dish of Pongal. Enjoyed a lot. special thanks to him. Have seen him taking care of every guest personally. The only drawback I felt is the approach to hotel. it is very steep. Little scary in the night.

Family stayed for 3N in third week of March. Initially was little sceptical given the reviews by individuals with few contributions. Also, as you enter, the reception area didn't seem very impressive. But as you enter further, the place is done up neatly with common areas well maintained, with lots of greenery, and spotlessly clean. The rooms, bathrooms are very clean with the large sit-out in the rooms facing the mountain view. The property is located on a hill (tiger hill) and is a dead-end. Further being forest area. The views from these rooms were amazing with the valley on one side and forest on the other. There is a meadow (accessible) on the valley view side and the sunset view from there is just too good. The staff is very customer friendly, from Kavita at reception to Bala (customer service/kitchen) to the house keeping staff. The breakfast spread is fresh and good. We tried out variety of dishes over 3 days and the tastes were great. We also sighted a herd of Bison grazing on the meadow grass, one evening post sunset, which was a bonus. Can think of one point for improvement, i.e. ensuring sufficient food is made available on housefull days ( few items got over, for breakfast, on one of the day's). Would definitely recommend this place, which is VFM too.

Our stay in Delightz inn hotel Ooty was so wonderful. They provide us bonfire, candlelight dinner and room decoration, everything was up to the mark and memorable for us. Hotel staff was so generous. Chef was also good, they cooked homely type delicious north and south indian food. Everything was good

It was an good experywith delightz inn.. good hospitality and service was very nice still need improvement in maintaining room walls.. no issues faced by me….food is good … mrng brrakfast was extraordinary overall i will recommend this hotel and the place is very good lawn is there to spend time and a neat balcony

We have stayed in Delightz Inn resorts for 3N. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff, with a welcome drink. Loved their hospitality, Food was tasty, Room facilities were very good. Every staff are so kind, cooperative and very responsive. There is a great lawn backside of the hotel which looks wonderful. Had a great time there. Highly recommended for families/ honeymoon couple.

I love how minimalistic and clean they keep the place and the garden that gives a pleasant vibe . I totally adore the flowers there . The food was delicious especially all North Indian food was on point, rooms were very spacious and neat . Hot water comes up for 15-20 minutes and we would want to wait for sometime to get it heated , thats the only thing i felt otherwise everything was perfect . Staffs were super kind ❤️
