巴爾博亞灣度假酒店(Balboa Bay Resort)

Great hotel. I was expecting a small little boutique hotel but was pleasantly surprised with the location, updated and beautiful resort with a full restaurant, pool and hot tub. I highly recommend this resort for the price in Newport Beach.

My stay was good until around 7:30am I heard what seemed to be a vacuum cleaner outside my room and the sound kept up for a solid hour. It woke me up. I looked outside and it appeared they were getting septic tanks pumped. I called the front desk and asked for a manager who was in a meeting. The manager was supposed to call after the meeting and around 2 hours later no call. Then I called the front desk again and close after the manager called. The manager was friendly and offered to make things right but seemed to have issues following through. We were checking out shortly so needed keys to get in the pool. As one remedy to the septic noise situation the manager offered to have someone bring up the pool key since our room keys were expiring. We waited around 30 minutes and after a complaint one would expect fast service. I had to call the front desk to check on status and the manager answered. The manager said we could come down to get the key and the bell person would come up after their next job. Either the manager forgot to tell the bell person to do this or the bell person was told and forgot. I doubt the bell person had a nonstop assignment for 30 minutes after my call with the manager. Also to make things right the manager was going to email me her contact information for a future stay which she forgot to do and was something she promised. I checked my email and spam and did not get anything. Nice place, but was not happy with the service.

Loved our stay, everything was top notch. Easy check in with friendly staff. Excellent facilities that were clean and updated.Large comfortable room with extra special touches, wine, and turndown with a thoughtful lavender sac. We will be back!

It was clean, quiet most of the time, service was 5 star. Beds are very comfortable, towels are absorbent and shower was amazing along with water pressure. Was a bit noisy at times because our room was on a main road. On a separate note we were charged for the initial night and then a change for the two nights we stayed was pending on our credit card. I will deal with that before we check out, it doesn’t make sense however.

the worst place to stay Bed pillow smell like human sweat. The staff is rude and not friendly. I would not recommend this resort to anyone.

The area. The amenities. The staff. Everyone and everything was top notch. A really pleasant time. Great for everyone including our furry friend. We will be back for sure.

The waitress put her fingers on my straws and l had to cancel my order.. it is unsafe and unsanitary.. l was hoping to have Breakfast.. but after that experience.. l canceled..
