Very good room presentation and interior, hotel services are also very good

We found the hotel to be very average. Room was extremely small. We did not get a king bed…what we paid for. The room couldn’t fit one. I haven’t seen a room that small since I travel to Europe! On site Parking is ridiculous. About 12 spots for a hotel and a restaurant. Breakfast was the typical continental style breakfast. Boring and bland. Other than the nice toiletries not worth the stay. Regarding the bill - they actually charged me for marketing service fee. $6.89.

On the plus side, this hotel is ideally located close to bakeries and shops as well as the lake and walking/cycling paths. The front desk and cleaning staff were very pleasant and helpful. On the other side, the tv system was glitchy on the first night and was not operational for the next two days. We notified the front desk but they weren’t able to resolve it. The room was small, which is okay, but the air conditioner was only 3 feet from the bed and blew right across the bed. We tried turning it off but the room became very hot and the windows don’t open. Breakfast was disappointing as the only healthy option was yogurt. Other choices were Rice Krispies, plain bagel, white bread, muffins and apples. Fortunately there was a very good breakfast restaurant two minutes walk away. I was looking forward to staying in this hotel as it was downtown and was a refurbished older hotel. Sadly, I don’t think I will be returning.

I didn't like that you put our two rooms in the basement! I was so upset because i was treating my sister and her husband for their 70th birthdays and we had to go to the lowest floor of the hotel. What an embarrassment ! I tried to upgrade or ask for a higher level and they wouldn't let me. The rooms were clean though.

A rough start as the property was under staffed for the evening - room was not clean upon arrival - original option was to move hotel - front desk staff was very good at dealing with the problem and coming up with a good solution but overall the experience was less than ideal

- Very little Hotel parking, most parking 2 blocks away - House keeping only on request and only if you stayed 7 days - Only 1 handicap parking spot, and extra parking 2 blocks away. Access to hotel required many stairs from handicap spot. Most rooms not accessible. All required many stairs even if you used elevator Breakfast was only small Continental not full breakfast pictured. Food ran out about 9:00. No dining in Hotel and Restaurant adjoining was terrible

I booked this for my daughter and son-in-law for their first year anniversary. They went to Boots & Heart on the Friday night and then spent a lovely weekend in the area for their anniversary. Their room, although they said it was nice, was in the basement next to the staff room/laundry facilities. They heard running water all night and the comings and goings of the staff. They said it was a great location, just would have preferred a room with a view and not be in the basement. Cheers!

Parking is almost non-existent and we were given a map to the municipal parking lot. I asked if I had to pay for that and was told no but if they gave me a ticket then bring it to the desk. Of course I did get a ticket so had to go back to the hotel. While they said they would take care of it, why not just give customers something for their dash with validity dates so that they aren’t inconvenienced?

The hotel is in a perfect location. It is stylish and very clean. Unfortunately a lot of infastructure construction on the waterfront. Once this necessary work is completed you will be able to access the waterfront easier. The staff of this hotel are very polite and accommodating.
