OMG, Wyndham should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this establishment. The first room seemed promising with the bright sunlight entering, but then the bathroom light and fan did not work even after repair. There was no screen door to patio. Only one towel for two people and the toilet didn't look clean. After switching to another room, the TV didn't work, and neither did the hairdryer. only two towels here, so we had to ask for face/hand and bath mat. No coffee /cream/sugar in the room. Pool was not in service. The 'continental breakfast' was a joke. Only waffles, some apples and some orange juice( no cereal, muffins, hardboiled eggs, or yogurt or other fruit). It was quiet, oh, I take that back, the a/c was very loud! Wyndham, shame on you!
Room 127 Pros: close to freeway and town, nice large room, great staff, pet friendly Cons: mattress slides on platform, might install stops of some sort to keep mattress in one place Overall: regular stop when in Oroville/Chico area
We stayed at this resort/casino for a quick getaway, which is about 75 miles from our home. It's a small California ****** but delivered on quality and cleanliness. The room was immaculate and unusually large as was the bathroom which included a Jacuzzi bathtub. The room was well equipped and the room size and the bathroom size went a long way towards providing a comfortable stay. We ate breakfast and lunch at the Acorn Cafe which I think has been recently remodeled based on its cleanliness and appearance. Though not a fancy restaurant the food was very good and the service was spot on. Alll of the staff were courteous and attentive, including the restaurant, front desk, and gaming personnel. There is an RV park on site as well as a coffee shop, mini mart and gas station. I think this resort will be a good destination for a quick getaway.
