I have never had such a bad experience in my life. Being yelled at like a dog by the ******** male employee of this hotel (named ******). Made me felt extremely scared and angry. I sincerely recommend all Chinese people not to stay at Mercure Tokyo Stay Osaka Namba. The hotel staff treats guests very unkindly. I never write a negative review, must publish this experience here, hoping that others will not have such a bad experience like me.
Me, my husband and my daughter stayed in a triple room for 5 nights from August 9 to 12 and August 14 to 16, and checked out on August 16. The hotel check-out time is 11 a.m., which we understand clearly. Since we have visited few countries on this trip. We have a lot of luggage and belongings to pack. As we were hurriedly packing in our hotel room. I heard someone knocking on the door very hard and shouted loudly at around 11:15 a.m.. So I immediately went to open the door. I saw the ******** male employee named ****** who looked very fierce. He gritted his teeth and shouted at me in ********. He pointed his finger at me and ordered me to leave the room immediately. I felt very scared at the time. I said to him in English “Sorry, please give me 10 minutes or charge me money”. He immediately pointed at me with a more ferocious tone, more ferocious eyes and more force, and said again in ******** and English shouted and ordered me to leave the room immediately. I felt very scared at that moment, fearing that he would hit me or do more harm. So I immediately closed the door. My daughter was also frightened and cried.
We went downstairs to complain to *****, the duty Incharge at the reception. ***** can speak Cantonese and she fully understood our complaint. Although she had a very good attitude and immediately reassured and explained that it might be misunderstanding of language and acommunication problem, but the male employee did not apologize to us, and even laughed secretly behind us. All happens could not be just misunderstanding of language and acommunication problem.
I understand that our late check-out must be our fault. I accept all payments for late check-out. But I should not be humiliated like this. I have not broken any laws. Even if I were a prisoner, I don’t think the police would do this and treating me with this kind of attitude.
In addition, the lights in this hotel room are very dim. Even if all the lights in the room are turned on, we can't see clearly. Moreover, all the spotlights are very dazzling. It is very uncomfortable to stay here. However, this is not the point, Poor Service Attitude, Race Discrimination and Disrespect for Women are no longer worthy of consideration.
