阿爾特渥太華酒店(Alt Hotel Ottawa)

Great stay. Wonderful service. There is a great little cafe in the ground floor. No parking onsite but the public parking across the road is perfect and close to walk to the hotel. Reasonable daily prices. Enter off Laurier Ave between O’Connor St and Bank St.

It was a nice little hotel! The room was a good size. It was a bit weird having the bar wide open in the walkway. I came down to meet my friend in my PJs and didn't realize had to walk through the bar to meet him at the front door. But all good. All in all I would stay there again. Staff was great. Bed was comfortable and the vibe was all good!

6-night stay for work. 15-minute walk to Shaw Conference Centre. Friendly staff. Cool bar / cafe area to hang out in next to reception. Room was great - spacious, comfy and clean. Good shower. Gym was a little on the smaller side but had the basics and towels. Great ramen restaurant around the corner.

I would love to rate this hotel higher! Unfortunately every time I have stayed here I have very poor sleep. The hotel uses duvets which look very nice on the bed. I’m sure they make it easier to maintain the rooms. Unfortunately they are also very thick. Sleeping under them is like sleeping under a sleeping bag in a room that you cannot cool down. The room does have air conditioning but it limits how cool you can make the room. Too bad they don’t have a blanket in the room. We’d pull off the duvet and just use the sheet and blanket. Otherwise we really like the hotel. Location is a couple of blocks from Parliament and Spark Street. Very clean and staff are pleasant.

Très belle expérience. Nous avons été surpris au matin de constater qu'il y avait des clients dans la chambre voisine puisque nous n'avons vraiment rien entendu. Donc super insonorisation. Très belle chambre propre et semble récente. Hotel bien situé. Excellent service et l'équipe nous parlais en français.

There are areas in the room that needs better maintenance (i.e., the entrance to our room has stains on the carpet, not thoroughly cleaned and shower floor is slippery). However, Joseph the front desk was very accommodating in allowing us to do late check-out. I think that is very kind of the hotel.

*Molded ceiling in the room. * hair on the pillow case * Sticky floor in the washroom Front desk staff customer services was very poor: it wasn't busy at all. Only other guest and myself were in line. It was around 5pm. First: we were charged the deposit twice. Staff said that the system was showing error...,when I checked my bank account, it showed that the card went through and have been charged twice,so, I asked for clarifications if their machine was malfunctioning and showed her two pending transactions on my account. However, she did not seem to care about my question.. she just brushed me off angrily " said your money will be returned when you check out". 2. She handed me the keys to the room, told me the room number and and said enjoy your stay! I hoped,the least, she would have directed me atleast on how to get to the room as the building elevators are in a hidden corners...which might be hard to find for someone who is tired after a long day of traveling. I would not stay in this hotel again.
