I stayed at Home2 Hilton at Oxford Alabama , for 6 days. I was charged close to 150 per night. and They never cleaned the room or even ask for the room to be cleaned. Never changed the bed sheets and the Representative at desk was very unprofessional, roude, and never says good morning or good evening -- no grating to the customers. When I complained about it then he became hostile ( name of desk clerk - Drew ) and when I asked to speak to the manager , he said he will not call manager or He/She is not available. Then he threatened me, he will call police and he did call police. Finally I got the manager name and phone number Amber Montgomery ( 205 -753-9581) and left voice and text message -- never got the reply . VERY BAD MANNERS AND VERY BAD HOSPITALITY ... DON'T GO/STAY THERE. DILIP

What a dreadful hotel this is. From the broken facilities to the filthy rooms this place is run very poorly. There are friendly employees and it is a great brand in a fine location. But the leadership should go. The shower hilariously was stocked with lotion in the wall mounted pump. When I called to ask why I was told they were out of shampoo. Mind you, this property is surrounded by sister brands where shampoo could be borrowed from or purchased. But instead they stocked the shower with lotion (also available on the bathroom vanity next to two hair conditioners.). The scale on the shower and dirt rubbed into the floor made waiting for the slowest arriving hot water even harder. I can’t say anything good about the bathroom. The pool is closed on a holiday weekend for cleaning. But trust me, any evidence of cleaning is absent. It was a murky green mess on a weekend with temps in the mid 90s. Really could have used a pool… The breakfast area is super sparse except for a shared waffle maker and literally loaves of bread and multi packs of bagels. There were hot breakfasts of microwaved bowls of what I assumed were once potatoes and a bit of fake eggs. And next to the well Stocked condiments for the missing oatmeal was a sign blaming poor ordering for the lack of cereal. The fitness center floors were festooned with soiled towels, the TV in that room didn’t work (an act of pure optimism on my part to even try to watch). And the adjoining laundry room was filled with overflowing trash cans and every missing sock in the state of Alabama, all laying on a random set of metro shelving. I will never stop telling my family members in the area about how awful this place is. If the Hilton company had any pride left at all they would take this property from the franchisees or debrand it immediately.

This was out first time staying in a Home2 Suites by Hilton. I was very impressed with the front desk staff (Kat) and the room was perfect! we loved the kitchenette! so nice to have coffee in a real cup and real plates and silverware for meals. I have already booked this hotel for our next stay in December.

Katherine at the front desk is the very best employee that Hilton can have. She treats you so kind and warm knowing your name and doing everything she can to help. Five star hotel because of her! the breakfast was awesome as well. The ladies try their best to make it as good as possible. I recommend this place because of the employees. They even make cookies for everyone to eat. I've stayed a million places because of softball and some are nicer than this one but the experience is so good because of how they take care of you.

This hotel is tucked onto a crowded 2-block area with many other mid-level hotels, and delivers reliable Hilton-quality service and accommodations. The quality of service received varies by individual employee - some are minimum Hilton standard, and others really excel. Rooms are spacious and clean, very comfortable beds & linens. The rooms are quiet, and the a/c will blow refrigerator-level if you want it to, which is nice for those who need a cool environment for good sleep. Parking is plentiful, and even if you have to park around the side or back of building, there's plenty of entrances that are still convenient to the elevator. Housekeeping is still COVID-restricted, and I found myself making trips to the front desk to replenish the in-room coffee. Overall, it's a decent facility and delivers on Hilton standards.

off let me say myself and my wife are long time Hilton member. I usually let my wife book my hotel with her account but I decided to do so myself this time and figured since the town where I was going had a Home 2 Suites it was a win, win situation. I get there the front desk person was very friendly and helpful to my needs so I figured this three day stay will be great. It was a government work visit so I was hoping it would be seamless, well on my first night June 21, 2022 @ 0235 the buildings smoke alarm started going off to my disbelief. I immediately threw on so clothes then call the front desk after looking out the door and out the window and seeing no one. I ask the clerk is this real and do I need to get out he replies yes. i make a mad dash down the hall to the stairs down five flight of stairs wait outside in the HEAT only to continue to see no one come out. I'm now puzzled , after about ten minutes or so I walk back in to see the clerk flustered saying to a young lady he hates when this happed cause it happed before for no reason. In closing i'm not very happy with the outcome or how it was handled I had to be on base at 0600 for a meeting and could not go back to sleep after all that happed. I may need to put this particular establishment on the radar for government and military personnel not to be used any longer.
