always santika Padang everytime I come here. the room is so clean, the ambience and the people also very humble especially Pak GM (Mr. Ainur) , the food is delicious , the internet connection is excellent, will come back here soon , the AC is cool , the interior is warm also the TV channel is various, this hotel is reccomended
SURFERS BEWARE. If you are booking for a surf trip, I would highly suggest looking elsewhere. This hotel is completely unorganized, will lose your bag, and tell you ”too bad” with 0 compensation. Mercure Hotel gave me a claim tag for my surfboard bag with my name all over it, and still managed to mess that up and give my bag to someone else flying to another country. You will see walking into the hotel how unorganized the bag situation is. It took 5 days for them just to recover the bag. When the bag was returned, stuff in my bag was stolen including all of my fins which were needed to surf. This hotel single handedly managed to ruin a surf trip I saved up and planned for a year in less than 12 hours of me staying at the hotel. What is even more pathetic, they also refused to reimburse me for only a few sets of the fins, which is all I requested. I was incredibly patient, waited 11 days for them to get this figured out all for them to tell me sorry, we'll comp your room upon return. Comically bad experience Also, they play thumping music until 5am which other reviews have alluded to, so if you do not want that, find lodging elsewhere. One of the managers deletes their messages every 24 hrs, but here is a screenshot showing the basis of their communication, responded every few days with ”checking” or ”I'll let you know later”.
This hotel offered me with a huge room. Yet, the air conditioner didn’t work properly. It needs long time to create a comfy air temperature. Moreover, the Truntum Hotel looks not ready especially in restaurant when I got my breakfast. Food didn’t serve steadily and the amount of cuisine menus was not enough. The temperature and interior design of the restaurant is not good enough, need to be redecorated. For further, the employees have to move sprightly.
訪訪客was asked by tour guide if i experienced anything here, so i googled about the hotel. Seems that it had another name and was destroyed in an earthquake. Anyway, i didn't experience any scary things. I slept well except internet is unstable and the towels are raggedy. First time i had such pathetic towels. :( Every night housekeeping would ring us to see if we need room service. Thank you.
