排河角酒店(Pai River Corner)

I had a great stay here. Location was perfect for me. You can have a breakfast watching river and take a walk along the river. It is located in the corner of Pai walking street, so you can walk to walking street any time. Also, it is close to the Pai bus terminal( walking distance). Room was spacious and clean. But, don’t expect like 4star hotel service here. There is no receptionist. There is a lady doing multi roles(working at front desk, hotel restaurant,…I am sure many more). She was busy but very helpful. I enjoyed my staying here and I will book this hotel again next time when I travel to Pai.

3번째 방문한 호텔이네요. 빠이에서 이만한 곳은 없다고 생각해요. 적당한 휴식과 훌륭한 위치. 코로나시국 이후 힐링하고 왔어요.

05/01/24 We Sat and had a drink (Lemon Slush) on the terrace over looking the river. Such a nice place to come and relax. We didn’t eat but the food looked good and price fairly. We will definitely come back here to sip a drink and watch the river flow last.

The place has a perfect location. It is tangent to the river which provides a great view of Pai river and a bamboo bridge, while its other side is adjacent to Pai walking street (very convenient). We didn't stay here, only for a dinner. Pork steak and chicken steak were fine. The price was not expensive.

We visit to Thailand for over 20 years and have never experienced such poor service. We were seated at a table that had not been cleaned yet. The waiter did not look for us and just sit next to the bar. It was not busy. After a while we had to go to the waiter for the menus. The waiter gives hardly any reaction. When the waiter comes to take our order, he does not take the dirty dishes back. Our drinks are brought between the dirty plates, the waiter walks back empty-handed. When the first plate of food arrives the waiter puts it on a chair because the plate does not fit on the table. Everything is in fact full of dirty dishes from the previous guests. Waiter walks away empty handed again and does not return. We had to put all the dishes ourselves aside on a bench next to the table so our plates could fit on the table. Waiter then arrives with wrong order and urges us to take it anyway. When I don't want this, he pulls a grumpy grimace and walks away. Unless to all the dishes sitting on the bench, waiter does nothing with this and walks away again. He quickly sits back down next to the bar and then does nothing. All in all an incredibly rude service. We don't come back here, because the food isn't worth that at all.

This was my sixth trip to Pai. Pay for what you get… and Pai River Corner never disappoints.
