Was contemplating staying here but have since heard about the type of people they let stay there pernamently ie a guy scamming women out of money.Looks a lovely place thou but wary due to its reputation.

We had a fab stay, really comfy beds, plenty of comforts, sweets in a box on the dressing table, very clean and comfy overall. Scott, the owner was very hospitable. We didn’t have breakfast there, but went to Frankie’s Cafe along the walk towards the railway station which was fab too!

Had a lovely stay at the Ashleigh, clean and tidy, very comfortable and great location. Scott was really welcoming on our arrival, made us aware of places to eat and visit as we had our young children with us. Everything we could have needed was there and more. Scott and Brenda went out of their way to make lovely little hampers for each room with some essentials in. Fresh milk was in the fridge on arrival and some little thank you treats which my kids loved!! Also their beds were made up with little elephant towels on which again they loved!! I would 100% stay here again. You can tell they are still making improvements to the B&B and it really shows all the lovely things they have done, you are 5 minutes from the harbour and about 2 minute’s max from the sea front.

AMAZING STAY!! Scott & Brenda are amazing hosts. The knowledge they provided of local amenities is amazing, including a few hidden gems. The Ashleigh itself, is completed to a very high standard, the rooms are clean and tidy with extremely comfortable beds. Location: It is within walking distance of not only local amenities, but the beach is a minute or two walk at most, with the harbour close by. Yet the accommodation is always so peaceful for a great nights sleep! Overall, The Ashleigh is somewhere that I will be returning to for many a stay!

Visited for the Air Show parking spot was ready for us which was ideal due to all the visitors there would be for the show & shortage of parking. We were also allowed to check in early which was most welcome. I can’t fault The Ashleigh at all it was very clean & in a great location. The host was very friendly & I could tell that nothing would be too much trouble if you needed assistance which we didn’t. Wouldn’t hesitate to to book again if we were visiting Paignton.

My wife and are regular guests here. Ian and Lesley are fabulous in every way. Our room ( 2 ) has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast is excellent and varied. The bar is a great addition. Our beds were clean and very comfortable. Ideally situated,a very short walk both to the beach and town. Perfect.

Just the perfect place to stay. Location just a few minutes from the beach, play area and pier. 5 mins from bus and train station. Room was beautiful and clean. Breakfast choice amazing. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and would be my first choice to stay again. We could see the steam train from our window too!

I spent a lovely short break here & wonderful hosts. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. Spotlessly clean. Made to feel very welcome. Thank you both for a great stay. Paignton was very busy but that could of been because of the nice weather.

Lovely little location off a quiet side street by the main road. It's barely a 5 minute walk to the seaside, the rooms are quiet and clean, and the balcony is great for birdwatching and enjoying a sunset over the surrounding hills. Lovely place to rest up.

The ashleigh is great ɓ&b. It's situated on a quiet street but still close to everything a short walk to the train and bus stations in one direction and the beach and nightlife in the other. Ian & Lesley are great,friendly and welcoming nothing to much trouble for them. We 1st stayed in 2023 and were really looking forward to coming back this year

Lesley and Ian were very friendly and knowledgeable of what was going on locally. Our breakfast was very nice and the service was good. Our rooms were clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. This is our third or fourth stay and we would have no hesitation in returning or recomending the Ashleigh

Great location. Lovely friendly B&B with a fabulous breakfast. Room small but adequate. Everything you need, you even have Alexa in your room. Lovely soft white towels. Very friendly couple. Would definitely go there again and recommend them. Thanks for a lovely stay Ian & Lesley.

The Ashleigh is in a good position within easy waliking distance of beach, town and public transport. The room was lovely with views over the rugby field so very quiet. There was plenty of storage space and a plentiful supply of coffee, tea and biscuits replenished daily. It was good to have large containers of shampoo, shower gel and handwash. Lovely modern walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were freshly cooked to order and were delicious. We made use of the large comfortable guest lounge which had lots of games available. There was a large supply of books for guests to borrow. The hosts were friendly and willing to help in any way. We would recommend this accommodation.

Lesley and Ian were great hosts, and could not do enough for us all. They were considerate and helpful, and really worked hard to give us all an enjoyable stay. The beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms well stocked and had everything we needed. We all thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Paignton, and our stay at the Ashleigh.

Awful. Very false couple and Lesley's appearance is not very nice, always looked tired. Room was ok but very small. Breakfast lovely but don't hint you want to buy the home made jam because if you don't Lesley goes in the kitchen not happy. Paid. £50 deposit to come back in October. Got NO reciept and now refusing to refund us as we didn't adhere to their T&C's which we never saw. So £50 from two NHS workers for doing nothing, they're obviously desperate for income. Oh and one more thing peeps 2 pints of Heineken and a lager shandy.... £12! At least Dick Turpin wore a mask!!

來自住宿之回應: This guest Mike Smith is a disgruntled man due only to not getting a refund of his £50 deposit, Mike sent us an email stating clearly that HE had “Embarrassingly” forgotten to book time off from work therefore could not stay on the dates booked, as a gesture of goodwill we offered a date change without incurring any additional fees. Mike Smith then began sending threatening emails (every 2-3 minutes) stating he would post lies on all media review/feedback platforms. The confusing part to the negative reviews is that Mike had such a lovely time with us that he wanted to return to celebrate his anniversary with us in October. His booking,com review as with our guestbook feedback were 10/10 we also have numerous messages/emails/texts saved from Mike stating how happy he was staying in a guesthouse that was a credit to us. As for stealing from NHS workers Mike obviously isn’t aware of the “Free” breaks we offered NHS workers during and post covid nor our 10% discounts given for all Blue Light workers and Veterans. Mike was offered a receipt but said it wasn’t necessary and as for not knowing about our cancellation policy it is on every booking confirmation email which was read by Mike. As for the jam it sells itself once guests have tried it on their toast, it is not a compulsory purchase
