The motel is in a good location. But the hotel is quite run down and very tired. The unit we had was relatively clean. The swimming pool looked a bit like a scene from a horror movie... In summary, It wasn't a bad experience to stay there, and it was quite good value for money.

Location was good, service was good too. Only suggestion i have is to renovate bathroom and kitchen, they are too old and kind of started falling apart. Rest of everything was good 😀

泳池需要好好清潔一下。沒有階梯可以進出泳池。我們房間裡的沙發床壞了，所以不得不換另一張床，這很不舒服。遊樂場需要升級。工作人員很友好並且樂於助人。

This is one the worst places to stay in New Zealand when on holidays. The door had a hole in it. Carpet was damp and stinked. Window latches were broken. Carpet had weird stains,walls were dirty. Rooms were very cold with no AC.We had to leave for our own well being tye same night we checked in..and i still got sick. Until they renovate the entire place please stay away from this place.

Property was very poor condition, toilet was broken, kitchen tap was dripping after let the stuff know they were very unhelpful, it’s not a good experience want to leave the property as soon as see the apartment and stuff behaviour before it was late and I had my little boy with me

The property location was great and the views were amazing. Games room was pretty cool. However when entering the rooms you could see it needs an upgrade. There wasn’t anywhere in the shower to put the soap. It was so cold at night and the oil heaters weren’t helping. The beds were very uncosy. The hot spa was So dirty we had to call reception to get it cleaned before we could use it. The wifi was terrible and they said they have no broadband. The pool was dirty and you could see the algae. Was closed So had unhappy kids.

This property calls itself resort hotel - it is more akin low end motel Condition rather avarage - eg toilet not secured to floor Amenities in bathroom But icing for my stay was other guests decided to have a rave party into the early hours of the morning - hence zero sleep Tried to get the reception to respond but to no avail

Great location and booked at last minute as we left our booking in Auckland as wanted to go to Cape Reinga. The staff had everything organised for us for a late checkin. Next to the ocean, you have some views. May be in summer we can have fun in the pool. The space was good for a big family. Thank you.

The motel was okay, for one night… I wouldn’t really want to stay for any longer and I don’t understand how it can be listed as a four star motel? The reception guy was nice enough, and it was only a very short stay so it was doable for the night, but I wouldn’t stay again.

The view and location were great. The pool and spa were fine. The wheelie bins were not emptied and the motels smelt of fish and other rotting matter. The buildings were damp and mouldy. The rooms were not service every day. This motel has enormous potential but is very run-down at the moment.

When we arrived all the windows and the door were open, thought that was probably not a good sign. The property was very tired and in need of tlc. When the front door was shut the windows flew open. This was reported to the receptionist who already knew and said they couldn't get anyone to fix it till the next day but as we complained she would try and get someone that evening. It was frustrating that they didn't tell us this before we arrived. The pool was in need of a clean. We didn't stay and got a refund.

Roaches in the kitchen. Some of the bathroom was rotten with the cupboards falling off. The pool was green. Rowdy guests not managed. Kids play zone dangerous. Fuzzy tv channels and no ability to plug in a dvd player which was on loan.

Beds were filthy. Electric blanket was tucked under mattress. Paid $50 for a broken leg on BOTH fold out sofa. Manager unavail
