Excellent hotel à Lanquin. Belle rivière avec corde à tarzan! Bon restaurant sur place

Accueil chaleureux. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est magnifique, au bord de la rivière... mais excentré par rapport au village de Lanquin, il faut prendre un tuk tuk pour tous les déplacements. La réception et l'espace restauration sont très agréables, ouvert sur le paysage. Repas bons et à prix très raisonnable. Il y a une belle piscine. Les dortoirs sont répartis dans des huttes à deux étages. Literie confortable, espace personnel acceptable mais manque d'équipement pour accrocher des affaires ou faire sécher sa serviette par exemple. Sanitaires corrects mais manque de patères. L'accueil est sympathique, mais plutôt intéressé (on parle argent d'abord) et ensuite le service est assez indifférent.

J’ai fait une réservation et il n’y avait pas de chambre de disponible Pas à jour ! Ils m’ont juste dit non il y a pas de chambre pour vous même si vous avec une réservation, aucune suggestion aucune aide

Muy bonito hotel a la orilla del río, mi única recomendación es que asfalten la entrada, son como 100 metros de terracería y cuesta mucho avanzar si esta lloviendo

Nice scenery. Terrible staff. Supposed to be picked up at noon. We arrived 10 minutes early. The driver looked his watch and said 10 minutes then went and had lunch for 30 minutes. The food is overpriced and poor. Windows are open and the screens broken. No hot water at sink.

Got my reservation wrong, the room were like an improvise cabin, no insulation, no windows or door screens, no fans, no daily cleaning unless you ask for it every single day, no fresh towels, no laundry service available, obscene recharge when you pay with credit card, parking lote unattended so if you don’t park at front, you will be trapped the entire day, food is expensive and no tasty at all, the bed feels like you were sleeping on a rock, just one power outlet pretty much hanging from the wall, overall a really bad experience, won’t comeback ever and won’t recommend to anybody either

There aren't many options in this remote area of Guatemala. You can only find hostels and this one was the only one with private bathroom, this is why we picked it. I understand it is in the middle of nowhere but the cleaniness of the room was questionable. We had sheets with stains and holes. And the bathroom was really minimalist with heavy smell from the pipes. Even in the middle of nowhere and for a hostel of this type I consider these basic services/facilities to have/do.

Rooms where clean but one the blanket of the three bed had musty smell and the door was missing the handle that you pull to open the door from the inside. to open the door you had to use the tip of your finger to pull the Thumbturn knob. Wife broke a nail trying to open door. FYI: Rooms don’t have mosquito nets
