We had a lovely stay at Hotel Chablis, in August 2023. Lovely, large room with balcony, impeccably clean (cleaned everyday), friendly, helpful service, and lovely pool. My family (me and my children aged 15 and aged 12) had a lovely time and would go back again. Good location, close to ADO bus station and other restaurants and cafes.

Room was very clean. Single person but had 2 beds in room. Bathroom very clean. Supplied good towels. Soap shampoo, shower cap. Air con worked really well plus had overhead fan. Quit room on 3rd floor considering on main street. Had a pool which was clean and they supplied pool towels. Lounging and sitting area and pool bar. Corridor was blasting hot but rooms cool. Reception very modern. Efficient staff.

Big warning- DO NOT go to this hotel if you can't speak Spanish. The staff were mostly unresponsive, uncoordinated, and would usually explain they are understaffed to save face. On my first breakfast, they took 25 minutes to get it, and I had to leave without a bite because my tour came to pick me up. On my last day I asked the one person who knew English well for a cab on 9:40, knowing it would take 5 minutes to get to the ADO bus terminal. He left, without talking to the others, and they forgot to order me a cab for that time. When I realized it, in 9:45, I asked for another. It took me 3 minutes to get the message through, and they told me the cab would be here- in 10 minutes! Thankfully a couple just left the hotel and gave me a ride, but if I stayed and waited for the cab, I would've missed my bus, and by extension- my flight. Not much else is worth mentioning. No hot water in the showers, the card readers in the dining room keep breaking down. They remove the umbrellas near the pool for some reason so no point in staying there. This hotel is good for 2 things- sleep, and drinking water supply.
