卡米洛特住宿加早餐酒店(B&B Camelot)

-Location: the hotel is located in a downtown neighborhood but close to tourist attractions -Service: the biggest issue we encountered was to check in the hotel upon arrival. Since there is no reception at the building, you’re supposed to contact the hotel owner, William, by phone for getting the keys. However, the breakfasts there were lovely with scenic rooftop view and handmade beverages by the caterer -Cleanliness: the room is generally clean but there’s no daily cleaning service and windows need to be opened to dispel odors -Amenities: the best part of the hotel’s amenities was that they got a water dispenser for refilling your water bottles *the staff there only speak Italian

Una volta giunti alla struttura, ci hanno informato di un problema nella nostra stanza e ci hanno proposto un'altra sistemazione presso un diverso edificio. Questo secondo alloggio si trovava al piano terra, ma purtroppo presentava un forte odore sgradevole e scarsa ventilazione. Dopo aver espresso alcune lamentele, ci hanno offerto un'altra alternativa al primo piano, che, seppur leggermente migliore, continuava a soffrire di problemi di odore e aveva anche il lavandino del bagno otturato. Leggendo le recensioni di altri ospiti, abbiamo notato che questa pratica di cambiare sistemazione è un evento frequente in questa struttura.

Sono costretta a mettere una stella, ma se ne meriterebbe zero!!! Abbiamo scelto questo B&B per trascorrere l’ultimo giorno della nostra vacanza a Palermo, in un posto strategico per la vicinanza col centro storico e col porto, ma di positivo aveva solo questo, perché il quartiere non era così tanto rassicurante. Al nostro arrivo ci accorgiamo che il B&B era al terzo piano, quindi avremmo dovuto fare una fatica per salire i nostri bagagli, che alla fine abbiamo deciso di lasciare in auto, prendendo solo l’essenziale! Saliamo e ci accoglie Giuseppe, che ci ha mostrato la struttura e la nostra camera, che ancora non era pronta nonostante gli accordi telefonici! Una volta preso possesso, la camera puzzava di fumo, ma la cosa che mi ha lasciata più sconvolta sono state le indicazioni sull’utilizzo del bagno: mi è stato chiesto infatti di buttare la carta igienica in un cestino e non nel water. Siamo nel ventunesimo secolo ma dopo questa richiesta sembra di essere tornati indietro nel 700! Non contenta di questa sistemazione decido di chiamare il proprietario, William, che dopo aver ascoltato la mia richiesta, ci sposta in una camera al primo piano dove il bagno per fortuna, rientra negli usi e costumi del mondo civilizzato. Ma la nostra avventura non finisce qui!!! Perché la camera era sporca, le lenzuola piene di peli, non so se di cane o altro, il piatto doccia nero, il bocchettone dell’aria in bagno pieno di polvere e il frigo in camera sporco! Allego le foto così potete non vivere la nostra avventura!!!

Staff cordialissimo, camere super pulite colazione ben strutturata, ottima posizione in quanto molto vicina al centro della città, nonostante siamo stati letteralmente solo un giorno, ci e piaciuto tantissimo, e ritorneremo sicuramente, e oltrettutto lo consiglio vivamente.

Appartamento spazioso, pulitissimo, arredato e dotato di ogni confort. Lo staff ottimo molto disponibile e gentile‚mi è piaciuto tantissimo! Lo consiglio ovviamente. Ottima struttura non manca nulla.

Utrolig hyggelig personale. God seng og frokost. Takterrasse som ekstra bonus. Sentralt, trygt og rolig strøk. Mange severdigheter i nærheten.

DO NOT GO HERE! Situated in an extremely run down area, which I certainly didn't feel safe walking around in daylight, let alone night time! We arrived at 5pm after messaging in the morning once again to confirm all was still OK for our visit, to be met with blank looks! The lady who was changing bed sheets made many calls to whomever was supposed to know we were coming, and after 20 minutes and with no English being spoken, we were told the room that wasn't ready would be ours......not ready at 5.30 after confirming our booking at 9am!! Eventually after I wattsapped the "boss" to ask why a room wasn't ready, the lady showed us to a different room, which stank of smoke and had a filthy, stained bedspread with crumbs on it! At that point, we grabbed our bags and left! In my opinion, this establishment does not deserve to be on any booking sites! It is revolting, looked dark and dingy, dirty and unwelcoming. The location is scary and rundown. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.....don't be fooled by the photos and good reviews.....it is not what is shown on the website!

Great place to stay in Palermo. Near by attractions and night life.

Poor unacceptable standard B&B Located in a really seedy (poor) part of the town yet, only minutes from the Cathedral, located along dirty streets with garbage strewn everywhere, we arrived at the Camelot B&B in Palermo. It is in an old building converted into two rooms on each floor level. There are no elevators and you must be prepared to climb steep steps to get to your room. We immediately noticed that the door lock surround had been patched up after being obviously opened by force. Upon entering the rooms, the design was of a medieval nature eg: The theme being from the Kingdom of Camelot. Basically appointed and barely provided with anything but a few liquid shower gel sachets there was basically,the beds, beaten up modern day chipboard wardrobe, a wall mounted TV and thankfully, an operating air conditioner. The room was shocking and not clean. Breakfast was taken by all the occupants of the other rooms from 08.30-09.30 in a room hardly big enough to sit 5 guests. The so called verandah on the roof was a joke. Not at all fit for the purpose. In fact all the green astro turf shown on online listings was in such poor condition (but, I understand now being replaced). This is a cheap and frankly unacceptable B&B and if awarded any star by any standards barely deserving of a one star. I don’t believe this poor quality of accommodations should be accepted for listing on online rental platforms. In short, look for something else. Pay a little more money and get an acceptable B&B
