The pictures shown on booking were not of the actual unit we stayed in. We were shown a unit looking over the golf course with water and instead we had a view of hedges with a wasp nest, making it hard to sit outsideand, and the parking lot. The buildings are old and upon entering the smell of must and mildew about knocked you over. Our unit was furnished ok, but the bed wasn't very comfortable and the pillows looked fluffy until you tried to use them and they were flat as a pancake. We went to Wal-Mart and bought pillows. The unit was also very humid. Even with the thermostat set at 67 we were sweating with just a sheet on. Definitely needs a dehumidifier. Everything was very dark and dreary. We left early and stayed gone all day because we didn't want to be there. We will be back to this area, but i wouldn't stay here for free. I will say the landscaping was well kept and the food was good. Thats the only positives I can give.

We were pleasantly pleased with the resort & our reserved room (2 queen standard room). Once we unpacked we realized that the room safe wasn’t working. We called and security responded very quickly but the battery was dead and they weren’t sure when it could be replaced. I went back to the front desk and they were great, they moved us to another room (an upgrade to a two queen suite with a kitchen, living room, dining room & patio) ! I was not expecting that, but the room was great ! Lock Ness pool was fantastic and “Tom” was outstanding ! If you visit this resort… I highly recommend a local restaurant: Mystic Fish on Tampa Rd. (Less than 15 minutes away) is OUTSTANDING !!!

Unfortunately, the first accommodations we checked into had no working airconditioning so we spent a first difficult night tossing and turning. We were moved the next morning early, which was an interesting twist because we were told there were no other rooms until cleaning staff came around the next day and clearly, that room was available already because we moved so early. The rooms need some maintenance and tlc. Not sure that a checklist is maintained regarding each each room or the air issue would have been caught since the unit was covered with ice.

One of the members verbally attached my family member over a pool chair. Security came in. She and her husband were out of control and security ended up kicking my grind out so we and all the kids left. Totally unacceptable behavior by the guests and the staff at this resort. I would never stay at this resort again. Ever. We were sitting at the pool with friends of our that live at the resort who saw the entire things and told security we were in the Wright. This place is disgusting. The staff member should be fired and bared from any resort employment for life.

The pool is fantastic make sure to look for the jacuzzi. I didn't like the fact that many of the units are for residents. So it's really not a hotel fully. Food at pool is pricey too.

The property is older but very clean and great place to stay if you’re golfing at the resort. Only a 15 min drive to Clearwater beach. I didn’t want to leave.

Beautiful property. Really enjoyed my stay. I would definitely return to this property.

The room was clean. However, the lavatory faucet, showerhead and kitchenette faucet were so clogged with what we presumed to be lime that water barely came out. Showerhead was not tight on the shower arm and had to screw back on and still the water pressure was extremely poor. Shower situation was not noticed until the next morning (stayed only one night) when we were getting ready to leave so room request change was not an option. Staff is very professional and polite during both check in and check out. Notified the front desk of the issue upon checkout. Did not ask for any type of reimbursement, however they removed the resort fee charge. Many of the suites are resident-owned so you may or may not have one that is as pictured on the website. This unit was partially updated and the photo shown when making the reservation was not a true representation of the room.
