Een klein boutique type hotel, zeer vriendelijke medewerkers en royale, schone en prima kamers. Het hotel ligt op een steenworp afstand van de winkelstraat met alle kroegen, winkels en restaurant. Ook het museum of art (dat prachtig is) is op loopafstand. Ze serveren weliswaar geen ontbijt maar ‘s ochtends is er wel sap, koffie en zoete broodjes. Het beste ontbijtrestaurant van Palm Springs (Cheeky’s) is om de hoek van het hotel. Wij hebben hier een fijn verblijf gehad.

What a perfectly situated, small hotel -- within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants -- that also manages to feel secluded and quiet. Nice size pool, hot tub and lounging area, and a spacious room and bath with a small private patio. Basically has all one might need for a short stay, if you're not looking for resort-style amenities. No restaurant, but Cheeky's next door is perfect for breakfast. (And the hotel offers coffee, OJ and pastries in the AM.) Good value and great location --- I'd definitely return. Plus, the staff was really friendly and helpful.

From the moment we arrived for our 7 day stay, all the staff was super. We celebrated our daughters wedding here with many out of state guests. The GM, Robert and hotel staff, TJ (and others), made sure to respond to any needs immediately. Housekeeping was excellent and went beyond to help us clean up numerous wedding events. The office even took care of some UPS packages that needed pick up, even though we had to catch a flight. All the guests loved the comfortable beds and clean rooms. The grounds are superb and constantly being cared for. The casual but elevated feel of staying at the Alcazar is something all the guests will remember. We are already planning our next trip back so we can take better advantage of all the local fun nearby.

Very clean and nice hotel. But we stayed with 3 other couples on the property and the road noise was VERY pronounced in our room and our friends rooms that backed up to Indian Canyon Drive. So make sure you're not in that building when you check in.

The staff was nice enough to let me out of my two day reservations, and stay only one night instead. Honestly I just want to warn others who may be lured by the pictures - this us a motel, literally whitewashed to look upscale. White paint covering every surface while it has the facilities of a motel 6. Wish it lived up to its pictures.

Alcazar is the best! Very comfortable and quiet. Delicious breakfasts. Great location. And the staff is super friendly. Our go-to place when in Palm Springs.

This was my third visit to the Alcazar and I had another wonderful stay at this hidden gem. Great location, close in and convenient to everything. Walking distance to downtown and just on the edge of the Design district. This is a small, quiet, casual hotel with spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms. The outdoor pool area is well kept, and the staff are pleasant and accommodating. Good value for the money. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is my fourth year in a row staying at the Alcazar Palm Springs, and there’s a reason I keep coming back. The hotel has a true boutique feel, and having stayed in several different room types over the years, I can say each one is wonderfully unique. The vibe is consistently excellent, and the pool area—with stunning views of Mount San Jacinto—is incredible. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the housekeeping team is among the hardest-working I’ve encountered in all my travels. The location is also unbeatable—just off Palm Canyon and within easy walking distance of the best restaurants, shops, and nightlife downtown. Robert, the Owner/GM, clearly takes great pride in the property, and it shows. There’s always thoughtful upkeep happening to keep everything looking fresh, most recently with a beautifully renovated pool area. All of this combined has made the Alcazar my go-to yearly getaway, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The location is between Indian Ave. and Palm Canyon Dr. which even in the off season has a lot of traffic and is noisy. Fortunately the drone of the AC window units help drown out some of the noise. But not enough. The gardener was leaf blowing by 7:30am and Staff was shoving pool furniture around shortly after. The floors are painted with what appeared to be an epoxy paint with a high gloss finish. Extremely slippery and dangerous if there is any moisture on it. When we arrived the rooms did not smell fresh but we aired them out and it improved. The next two days the smell returned, the tubs didn’t drain properly and sewer venting came through the bathroom shower and sink drains. We used wet towels to cover the drains. When management was notified there was no rush to correct the issue. In fact, the last day when management finally came to the room all he said was that he would call a plumber. Then he abruptly turned and walked out. The pool area is nice. It’s advertised that there was a remodel. Photos make the place look like a gem but the reality is the rooms are just ok. The lack of maintenance makes them sub standard even for one star. This place could be so much more with proper maintenance and attention to detail. We will not return.

My Wife and I have been vacationing in Palm Springs for over 20 years. We have stayed at a lot of Hotels in P.S. We found the Alcazar in 2014 and have been staying there with Family and friends ever since. Robert and his team take such good care of the guests it is great to getaway and relax in such a charming peaceful place. So if you have not stayed at the Alcazar give it a try and experience this charming oasis.

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights. What a lovely hotel! Really, we were just looking for a clean, quiet place to stay on our drive to So Cal. Alcazar was a dream. The room was clean and quiet, the bed was especially comfortable, and we had a private outdoor patio. The pool was wonderful, with plenty of lounge chairs, shade, and misters to keep me comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants was a plus!

Just what we needed. Our 3-day staycation at Alcazar Palm Springs was the perfect reset — peaceful, cozy, and filled with all the little touches that make a getaway feel special. We spent our final evening sipping Prosecco in the courtyard, reflecting on how lucky we are… and polishing off the bottle before dinner at Birba, which was fabulous as always! Thank you Robert and your team for an exceptional stay. Grateful for the rest, the setting, and the memories.

We knew nothing about Palm Springs before our visit and spent time researching hotels and we were very happy with our choice of Alcazar. The location is excellent, all of the staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms and facilities are great.
