Okay place to stay. My room had lots of traffic noise from cars, trucks, motorcycles, scooters. The property is on a main Street in Papeete. I stayed five nights. The sheets were not charged. Only one time the two bath towels were changed. The AC worked good. The shared kitchen was always hot. No AC in the kitchen. It's is a 25 minute walk from the ferry boat and cruise ship pier. To far to walk with large heavy suitcases. You have to pay for a taxi. There is lots of street parking very close to the property. Also a large grocery store across the street.

Just what we were looking for, quiet clean and close to downtown. Nadine was an excellent host. We had the room outside off the lani which had a private bath. Simple, very clean and private. Air conditioning worked great no tv but who needs one, go out and explore!

The best part about CityHome is Nadine, who manages it. She was more helpful than we could have hoped. Neet a cab? She will schedule it. Need info about trips? Cars? Tips about shopping? Advice about where to eat? She knows it all and is happy to help. Nadine made all the difficult things about being in an unfamiliar place simple. The accommodations are comfortable, pleasant, and immaculately clean. The air conditioner in our room was quiet and worked so well that outside noise was simply not an issue even though CityHome is in a busy part of town. There is a lovely patisserie right across the street where we bought coffee and croissants in the morning, two nearby markets (2 minute walk to one, 5 to the other), and walking to the Papeete harbor takes only fifteen minutes. We rented a car and never had any trouble finding a nearby parking spot. (While we used the car to travel around the island, we really didn't use it much in the city.) The common kitchen and TV area area were clean and had everything we needed to fix a snack or a full mean when we wanted. I would certainly stay there again, and I don't know how we would have managed without Nadine.

First day, Nadine asked me paying 64usd while ******* told 61usd that made me show a proof. We had to deposit 100usd for allowing to check in. After coming room, we found out water into toilet didn’t fluent after using. Everything was floating on its face. I used messenger to text immediately to her because we couldn’t bear this. All was quiet until morning. Her husband talk like shouting to us,” here is not resort, all thing in toilet” while we just came about 2 hours. Then she was standing in front of my room with loudly words”no cheating, can move to another..” but don’t tell any money back. Why I can move when I paid all and plus deposit money? Welcome guests without any bottles of water only like that only half day they stay? Parking through website is free but she answered no any parking there although inside no any car. Kitchen was difficult finding any pots except some dishes and big bows, many warnings like removing shoes white the ground makes my foots become black after go in and out, should turn light or AC off when come out evenly half hours…Those made me so scary, no dare to use it any second. Cleaning fee charged but nothing to help although once I asked. At airport, when we just meet her, she helped by difficult to look for any bank excluding here that made us change more money than we expected. Finally we changed back and losing a lot! After coming home we are so regret after reading a new review about City Home Tahiti, I’m stupidest so much!

BEWARE! You are renting a room in a house. The way they advertise and the amount of $$ , one would think its a whole house. They will ask for additional deposit and a cleaning fee of dollars even though you may be sharing with 3 other ROOMS. In addition there are signs and rules for everything. I asked for a blanket and was told no. I used the washer dryer, was charged a fee and they changed the lock so no one else can access unless you ask permission. Location is so so . You are better off staying downtown in Polynesian Cabins by Kon TIKI. location is across from the ferry, clean and they dont ask for any additional fees.

Nadine a été très disponible et nous a accueilli malgré l'arrivée tardive de notre avion (minuit).Chambre très propre et bien équipée (notamment clim). Espace commun (salon et cuisine) comme à la maison ce qui permet de revenir en journée breaker ou manger. Télé, wifi, documentations, électroménager, vaisselles ... Super boulangerie en face et supérettes à côté, stationnement de la voiture dans la rue mais juste à côté. Environnement un peu bruyant le matin car rue passante, mais comme certainement n'importe où à Papeete. Assez bien situé car à 15-20 mn de marche du centre ville, de la gare maritime ou du marché. A recommander.
