Dear Hotel Bowmann Paris, I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional service my family and I received during our stay at your hotel from April 27th to May 4th, 2023. This was our first visit to your hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience. I am so grateful for the warm welcome we received from your staff and their exceptional professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. Every detail was handled with care, from the check-in to our departure, and the team went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Special thanks to Maude, Skyla, Goran, Pascal, Martino, Charly, Rafic, and all the other employees who provided exceptional service during our stay. They made our visit even more delightful. The rooms we stayed in were outstanding, impeccably clean, and equipped with very comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, and quality tea and coffee. The breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options, and the service was always impeccable. The warm and inviting atmosphere of your hotel made our stay unforgettable, particularly for our daughter, who had never visited Paris before. We were so impressed with your hotel that it has become our top choice for accommodation in Paris. We look forward to returning soon and creating even more incredible memories at your hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights and we had a great experience. Everyone was so nice and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends. I also love the location of the hotel, it's the perfect distance from everything.

Do not stay here. We returned to our room after an afternoon out and after being in the room for only a few minutes the door opened and a man started to walk in but when he noticed someone was in there he quickly closed the door and by the time I opened it again he was gone. Just after this, I noticed that my wallet, that had been left on the side table was missing. I tore the room apart looking for it but it was gone. I told the old lady at reception but she didn’t seem to care at all. The next morning I found the wallet, empty and stuffed inside my partners suitcase and I went and asked reception if she had any news and she hadn’t told anyone and asked me to write down what happened so she could tell the manager. That evening, I asked another receptionist and he knew nothing about it so he took my details and told me to speak to the manager in the morning. This morning I spoke to the manager who said the man was a tradesman who denied taking anything (as a thief would) and there is nothing he can do. I said that the hotel is responsible for letting someone into my room who stole from me and he could care less. I also asked him to call the police but he refused saying I can go to the police station if I want. What a horrible experience and an even worse and useless manager. Don’t stay here if you value your possessions.

Tres bon accueil, tout le personnel est syma. C’est vrai nous ne sommes pas dans un palace mais : chambre petite mais propre, salle de bains propre. Quand on vient a Paris ce n’est pas pour rester dans sa chambre toute la journee ! Surprise des commentaires précédents. Sommes nous surs d’être allés dans les meme hôtel ? I am extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel during my 4 day visit to Paris. the friendly service, the cleanliness, the delicious food, the pleasant atmosphere (nice music, calmness and politeness from Sasha, Patrick, Isabelle and the women who take care of the cleanliness and the delicious breakfast). very convenient location, as well as proximity to a metro station. We have traveled the world and stayed at very special properties. The Peninsula Paris has earned a top notch review from our family. They made sure they went above and beyond in their service to make our trip to Paris extremely special. My husband has mobility issues and the staff at the hotel couldn’t have been more accommodating. They did what ever they could to make his trip safe and extra special. For my daughter, they had noticed she had recently been to the Taylor Swift concert in LA. She had worn her Taylor Swift merchandise 3 days in a row! When she walked into her room on day 3 they had personalized a bath towel for her with the Taylor Swift Concert date and city. We have had lots of beautiful gifts from the hotels but nothing as personalized and thoughtful as an engraved Taylor Swift bath towel!🤍 The property was beautiful, restaurants were excellent and service top notch. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work.
