茉黎斯酒店–多切斯特典藏(Le Meurice)

Went for 2 days business trip, stayed in a suite and overall nice hotel but not uau factor. The suite was nice, breakfast nice but not amazing. I was expecting a palace feeling and service but it’s just another 5 stars in the capital, for the price I would stay in other places in Paris.

This has to be the best hotel I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. From start to finish the staff were very attentive. Our room (423) was wonderful and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in ever. The bathroom was wonderful with a great shower and bath. The bar is lovely with a very relaxing vibe. We had dinner in the RESTAURANT LE DALÍ which was exceptional. For breakfast the following morning we had it in the Alain Ducasse restaurant and was what you would expect of this hotel…..amazing. Thank you for a wonderful stay and would most certainly come back!

We stayed 2 days/ three nights at le Meurice , we are very familiar with Dorchester collection, having stayed in Dorchester for the last 20 years very regularly. What could I say ? Amazing location, amazing staff, very attentive to small details , beautiful breakfast and beautifully appointed rooms . I had to use the hotel spa while I was in transit between Paris and London, having landed in Paris and going by train to London, the hotel allowed us to use their spa to shower and kept our belongings while we had lunch with friends. When we came back from London we felt welcome and cared for. A birthday cake was sent to my husband , and we had fresh fruits and treats everyday.le Dali serves amazing food and has nice ambiance , Alain ficasse was closed for dinner during our stay but we had beakfast there eveyday. Amazing setting! Counting the days to be back in January!

Let me start with the good. Le Meurice is an absolutely beautiful place. It is located in very good location with Angelina’s restaurant and other activities nearby. The trash situation at the time didn’t cloudy my opinion of the hotel itself. However, the staff left me a bit underwhelmed. And honestly, part of it may be cultural. I am used to staff being friendly and cordial. However, the staff with the exception of one waitress was very stiff and not friendly in their demeanor. Everyone was attentive but not interactive at all. It was very off putting. I also found it strange that I was asked my room number every time I entered a dining area (or bar area) to be served (before even being seated). I didn’t see other patrons being asked that information before entering dining areas. It made me feel like the staff thought I didn’t belong there. I have visited similar hotels in the area (like Hotel Athenee) but never got the cold feeling I got at Le Meurice. That being said, if that is something that is not offputting- it is a great place for a lovely room and surroundings along with attentive service.

Nous avons eu la chance de feter l’anniversaire de mon conjoint dans la salle d’Alain Ducasse. Nous avons brunché la bas et l’expérience est incroyable! Les viennoiseries des Cédric Grolet, les entrées entre terre mer et végetal, le plat, les fromages, les desserts! En plus d’un brunch incroyable certainement le meilleur service que j’ai eu. Merci mille fois au directeur adjoint M Lassad Ben Becher qui a été aux petits soins. Toute son équipe sont également au top! Nous reviendrons!
