西西里國王酒店-裏沃利(Roi de Sicile - Rivoli -- Luxury Apartment Hotel)

Il residence si trova nel meraviglioso quartiere di marais. Grazie a un upgrade gratuito e inaspettato ci è stato dato un appartamento bellissimo con affacci proprio su Rue de Rivoli. Poco professionale l’addetto alla reception che alle 23 di sera ci ha bussato per chiedere di poter prendere un piumone che stava nel nostro armadio, molto gentile invece la ragazza che abbiamo trovato la mattina seguente

O hotel é extremamente confortavel. Ficamos num apartamento, que tem uma pequena cozinha, sofa cama, quarto e banheiro. Staff extremamente atenciosa. Tem tudo, absolutamente tudo, perto. Restaurantes, farmacia, mercado, metro, ponto de onibus. Certamente será “meu” hotel em paris.

My wife, my 8yo kid, and I spent three nights in a standard 1BR apartment at the Roi de Sicile - Rivoli. It was a little expensive, but the most reasonably priced accommodation I could find where we'd have a separate bedroom for the grownups and real air conditioning in a good location. TLDR: we were quite happy and would definitely stay there again. The apartment and the lobby were immaculately clean and pleasant and far more spacious than most Airbnb options we considered (many of which would have cost considerably more). The furnishings were decent quality--comfy beds and linens, nice shower, functional kitchen appliances, etc. The air conditioning worked well and wasn't loud. And the cleaning staff was very thorough, even washing the couple of dishes we left in the sink that we didn't get a chance to wash ourselves. It's not a full-service hotel, and the daytime desk clerk was relatively new to the job and consequently not as knowledgeable as many hotel concierges. But he and the nighttime security guard (who didn't really speak English) were friendly and helpful, and anything you might need is nearby. We bought cheap snacks and beverages from the Carrefour City (like a mini Wal-Mart) directly across the street, a carnet of transit tickets from the Tabac shop less than a block away, and found plenty of excellent restaurants and shops within a couple blocks' walk. Two minor quibbles (neither of which warrants a reduction in rating IMO) are: 1) The pull-out bed (which was otherwise great, with a mattress that was much more comfortable and spacious than most hotel pull-outs I've encountered in recent years) has an old-school metal frame that is exposed on the sides of the mattress, making it very easy to hurt yourself while trying to get in/out of the pull-out bed. 2) The toilet has its own little room off of the living room, while the bathroom sink and shower are on the other side of the bedroom. So to wash hands after using the toilet, we had to choose between using the kitchen sink or opening three separate doors (the toilet room door, the bedroom door, and the bathroom door) to get to the bathroom sink.

Cannot recommend this property enough! Fabulous location - lots of great bars/cafes and the area has a really good feel to it. We stayed in the Duplex apartment in the annex building. It was gorgeous. Very clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. There is a lift in the building but suffering from claustrophobia I was not getting in the tiny lift so we had to walk up 6 flights to get to our apartment - all part of the fun of staying in Paris and decided the extra calories burnt climbing the stairs allowed us a visit to the local patisserie! The service from the staff was phenomenal. Nothing was too much for them and when we managed to jam the bathroom door shut their carpenters achieved the impossible and granted us access. I would not hesitate to book when we return to Paris.

We stayed at the Roi de Sicile hotel on rue de rivoli for the first time and had a great experience. Our room was most comfortable and having a well appointed kitchen was convenient. The housing keeping staff did a great job everyday and a special note for two of the staff at the front desk-Lesley and Stefan. They were most helpful throughout our stay. Many thanks.

Perfect location, huge suite (Apartment Prestige), friendly and attentive staff… wouldn’t change a thing! The location is genuinely perfect. You’re within easy walking distance of a whole handful of Métro stations that lead basically everywhere in the city you’ll want to go, and just a few minutes from the Seine near Notre-Dame and lots of other major sights. The neighbourhood is full of shops and places to eat, and although the rue de Rivoli is a relatively busy street, we found it much more relaxed and less thronged with people than other parts of central Paris, so it was a really pleasant area in which to stay. Our suite had huge Haussmann doors to the little balcony, and when we had them open and the bathroom window open, we got a brilliant cross-breeze on some pretty warm, summery days. This also gave us a few magical moments… one morning we were treated to someone playing the saxophone nearby (very well), and two other times, we heard someone singing down on the street. The sunsets also made for some iconic Parisian photos and videos from the balcony. When you close the doors, you really can’t hear the street at all, impressive. Bed was comfy, water was hot and abundant during our stay, kitchen was well-equipped, and they had Nuxe Rêve de Miel products in the bathroom. Everyone at reception was so friendly, as was housekeeping, and the transfer to and from CDG was done by the same cheerful driver both times. Can’t fault a thing, and one of the lovely folks at the front desk told me they’re opening a five-star on the Champs-Élyssées soon, as well. If it’s managed and maintained as well as this four-star is, I’m sure it will make for a fab stay, too. Merci beaucoup pour cette expérience fantastique, nous reviendrons absolument ici.

This hotel became our home away from home. The staff was exceptionally lovely and welcoming. LESLIE, AIOLY( sorry if my spelling is off) went above and beyond. From the moment I booked, ALL the staff quickly and kindly answered all my emails. They arranged a few lovely breaks baskets and booked dinner reservations for us. THE STAFF MADE OUR EXPERIENCE AMAZING. We stayed in the annex duplex suite. It was clean, well lit. My only recommendation would be to add a rig runner on the steps as they were so polished, the wood was a slippery. We had a minor issue with the large shower head falling off and conking me in the head. Leslie came and stayed while the repairman fixed it to ensure it was done well and to be our interpreter. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Talk about location location location! Walking distance to so many sites and many entry’s to the metro.

We stayed in the Annex building in January when we were in Paris for 10 days and in the main building when we went back in April. Both buildings are great. We loved having the kitchen area and separate sleeping area. The rooms are well appointed with everything you need, very comfortable size wise, very clean and we found them to be quiet as well. Our room in January even had a small Christmas tree. I'm sure the timing of our visits (Jan and Apr) had something to do with it, but we found the room temperatures to be very comfortable. Perhaps in the heat of the summer it may have been different. The staff are very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Big Thank you to Aayushi for even mailing some post cards for us! The location is great as well with many of the main sites within walking distance. Metro stations are close by as well. Even though the main building is on a main street, we found our room to be very quiet, even quieter than our room had been in the annex as that room was very close to some bars. Still nothing out of the ordinary. We love Paris and know we'll be back again and won't hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
