梵倫納酒店(Hôtel de Varenne)

Beautiful boutique hotel w large rooms and bathrooms. The courtyard entrance is lovely with outdoor seating, plants etc. The staff is clearly devoted. The continental breakfast is very good with plenty to eat. The hotel is walkable to the metro (just around the corner). It is about one block from the Rodin Museum and is considered the embassy district (Swiss embassy around the corner). We either walked or utilized the metro. Only once did we use an Uber as it was late and we were tired. The staff gave excellent recommendations for nice evening meals and restaurants within walking distance. I feel fortunate to have been able to book this hotel as I’m sure it fills up quickly. I loved that we were not in a touristy area but could still get where we wanted very easily.

This hotel is in a perfect location on the left bank. The staff were delightful. Very friendly, charming and helpful. Our room was good and overlooked a small courtyard, which kept it very quiet at night. The neighborhood is fantastic with great stores around and grocery store right across the street, I would be happy to stay here again!

Hotel pequeño con buena atencion por parte de su personal, estilo clasico y con cierta elegancia, a 5 minutos del museo de los Inválidos y el Sena y a 15 minutos de la Torre Eiffel caminado!... Museo Rodin a una calle!... cafeterias y restaurantes cercanos!... definitivamente me volveria a hospedar si regreso a Paris.

Nos recibieron excelentes, nos cuidaron el equipaje mientras llagaba la hora de entrar a la habitación, la habitación familiar es muy confortable con dos recámaras con TV , El baño es moderno y muy limpio. Tiene caja fuerte y frigobar, equipo de sonido. Batas de baño y pantuflas. Cama y sofá cama muy cómodos. Edificio histórico, elevador pequeño, para 2 personas, muy funcional.

A perfect home for our honeymoon days in Paris. Easy walking distance to the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Musee D'Orsay, Rodin Museum, and some of the most fabulous restaurants in Paris, Le Deux Magots for fine dining, and Cosi for sandwiches! Their service was excellent, the morning breakfasts were delicious and quick. Overall a fantastic spot to stay if you want to walk the city and also see some of the most beautiful spots Paris has to offer.

Nice property, helpful and friendly staff, comfortable bed. Room was rather small and not quite as nice-looking in person as compared to the photos, but nice enough. Also, for other senior guests - note the bathtub/shower is a bit of a challenge to get in and out, no grab bars, not sure if there are better rooms available for such cases.

Margo was fantastic. She went out of her way to be sure we enjoyed our time in Paris. She booked tours and secured tickets. She gave us ideas for lunch and dinner, and made our stay special. Breakfast was also amazing with pastries, jelly’s, juice and coffee. What’s really important to me is having a clean, well appointed room and the Hotel De Varenne did not disappoint. The room sparkled and was in great shape.

The accommodations were very run down. No table cloths on dining tables. Furniture with scratches. Worn rugs. The pictures on the website promised elegant accommodations. Hardly. Woodwork was banged up. And a box of garbage was in the hallway next to our door when we arrived. In past I have only posted positive reviews, but this this hotel was very disappointing.

Cozy, friendly and very helpful staff, easy walking distance to major activities around Seine. Room very comfortable and had all the amenities. Wish it had a shower instead of a bathtub--very difficult to get into and out of.
