Unhygienic rooms as per the star category it should be 2 star property. No hand towel , face towel and bathmat inside room.

Terrible experience – Waste of money I went to Hotel Iqbal Inn yesterday with 21 family members for dinner, and it was a total disaster. We were a big group, but the service was very bad. Bad Service: The waiters did not care about us. We had to call them many times, but nobody came to help. Basic Needs: They did not even gave us tissues, even after we asked several times. Bad Food: The food was not tasty at all. For the price they charge, the quality was very poor. It was very embarrassing to take my whole family there. I strongly recommend, please do not go here. The staff is very lazy. Very disappointing!

Strongly not recommended. Please consider other options if you want a comfortable and stress-free stay. I recently stayed at Eqbal Inn, Patiala with my family, and it turned out to be a very disappointing and unpleasant experience. Before booking, I had already noticed multiple negative reviews across different online platforms. I raised these concerns directly with the hotel staff, who assured me that those issues were old and that the rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors had been recently renovated. Trusting their assurance, I proceeded with the booking. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. On arrival, the hotel looked poorly managed, with only one person handling the reception. The room allotted to us had a strong foul smell, visible seepage on the walls, peeling paint, a filthy washroom, a broken toilet seat, and extremely dirty, smelly corridor carpeting. I immediately requested a room change, but the alternative room offered had the same unhygienic conditions. To make matters worse, despite having booked the room with breakfast, there was no proper breakfast service even at 9:30 AM. There was no staff available to help, and getting hot food was nearly impossible. The lack of basic hospitality and coordination was shocking. This hotel is not suitable for families or anyone who values cleanliness, comfort, and hygiene. The condition of the rooms does not match the claims made by the staff, and the service standards are far below acceptable levels.

Pros 1) Location is a convenient one Cons 1) The TV set is not working at all. On the first attempt ,some technicians have made it to work in the next 30 minutes duration, even though there are only 4 channels available, the TV set seems to be very old, it completely wastes my 30 minutes 2) Room entrance light not working at all, Also there room lights are so dim that no one could work under this 3) No response on the internal telephones provided inside the room by the service staff, each time you need to go downstairs and make an order for the same 4) The room is not clean enough, it seems very old painted room 5) Ordered food is very very expensive and of very poor quality as well , even the water bottle cost 55 INR Never suggested to anyone at all

Food was between good and average location is super and facilities were also good . Overall it was a good experience for me . And one more thing the view from the room to outside was above and beyond .

There was no buffet served in the hotel during breakfast time only select items were available from menu

At first they provided me a room where lights were flickering and water was leaking in bathroom. They said that they will get the lights changed and send a plumber. But after waiting for long time, around an hour, I requested to change my room. They assigned a better room then. I had similar experience earlier in another hotel in Chandigarh that they first provide you a room in bad condition, only when you complain about it the room is changed. This is wrong trend.

Location is good its main road property but amenities are very poor. No any service on room infact landline is dead. No towel in room.

The room was very good and spacious but the bad was extremely bad, the breakfast was very bad. So you might be disappointed there.

Did not get hot water for bath , there was no shower in bathroom. And had a pathetic experience in breakfast. Had to wait 20 mins for one prantha that they were already serving. And 20minutes for coffee which was pathetic

Average. No dental kit available. No doormats outside washroom. Ac non functional. They said its central supply. Cant switch on for one room. Gave a pedestal fan.
