Maybe not a fair review, as the flooring in the reception and other entries was in the process of being replaced. I first noticed there was no WiFi, then that our bathroom towels were laying on the floor. We checked in after9PM, and the desk clerk seemed displeased to see us, so I did not complain - we were happy to have a bed. When I got up in the morning, either the TV or the remote didn’t work. I was going to take a shower and noted that though it looked new, the plastic shower floor was uneven and spongy, which was a problem for me since I have numbness in my legs due to chemo induced neuropathy. After I got in the shower, I discovered there was no shower head. It appeared that someone had leaned on the sink too much while working on the room, as it was coming loose from the wall. Nothing we did - it was that way when we checked in. They had turned the WiFi on in the morning, but the free breakfast was not available yet when we left around 7:30.

Breakfast is waffles, cold cereal, instant oatmeal and toast/bagels, but no protein besides yogurt. Shower and beds are good, room was clean, but updating is required to cover up maintenance repairs. Good location off interstate. Small parking lot. Quiet during my stay.

Was great for the price and with my dog! The woman who checked me in did EVERYTHING to accommodate me and give me a super fair rate! The room was fine but be aware the bed is VERY high off the floor! I actually liked it, it felt so luxurious and was a fine mattress! The room was spacious and had everything I needed. The cons! Ticking from PTAC unit was VERY annoying but it was decent clean. The light beside the bed did not work. The clock radio did not work or was plugged in. The mini fridge was in desperate need of a defrost. NO late check out allowed and when I asked has smoke blown you know where! You can't clean EVERY room by 1pm! These are things MANAGMENT should keep an eye on and inspect the rooms. The PROS. FANTASTIC check in experience, despite denied late check out. Mostly quiet but stomping from room above!

A nice affordable place to stay that was clean, well prepared and convenient to other venues in Paul's Valley. Just right off I-35 next to a hamburger and ice cream shop with a small grocery area. You can park, unload and get something to eat without getting back in your vehicle. A plus.

Staff was friendly Toilet ran all night Microwave did not work Refrigerator did not work Internet did not stay connected Chair was stained The most important part of this was the fire exit was permanently locked. Very big concern for me.

Booked a room for 5 persons, ended up with a room for 4. Had a discussion for an hour about it but they did not seem to understand it at all. In the end one person had to sleep in the car. No help, no refund, no nothing

We had to change rooms because the a/c was to noisy for us to sleep, new room smelled like smoke which really didn’t bother us but when you initial to pay $500 for smoking in the room was a little concerned about that. Called the front desk to let them know. Breakfast was nothing, only thing to eat was low fat yogurt and waffles which the batter looked spoiled. And lastly the hair dryer didn’t work. The girls at the front desk were very helpful, but at almost $100 a night it should have been much better.

Facts, no fluff: I arrived after midnight and the person working had "already run a report" so he charged me for the room again. I asked if it was for incidentals and was told "Yes, but come down in the morning and the person will fix it." I needed the room to sleep and shower and was tired so I just let it be. When I woke up to shower, I found out that there wasn't any hot water. I was getting ready for a conference and didn't have time to call and switch rooms, so I endured a cold, uncomfortable shower. Then I round out that the outlet in the bathroom didn't work so I used their janky little hair dryer by the bed - no mirror or anything. The manager, Tina, tried to be helpful and said she would let her manager know about the issues and someone would call me. I never heard anything. I called back 6 times and no one ever called me back. I was told, however, that they fired the first guy I had contact with and that the lack of hot water was a known issue. So why would they put me in a room they knew didn't have hot water? On my latest attempt at a resolution, a new worker gave me Yogi's cell phone number. Yogi is apparently Tina's manager who never did anything about my complaint and request for partial refund. He was so incredibly rude on the phone without even knowing who I was or what issues I experienced, he said "We are not in the charity business of providing refunds." I know there are probably people who ask for unjust refunds, but this one is justified and now I've reported them to Wyndham corporate offices. Do not support this place.

From a genuinely kind welcome with timely service. the front desk clerk provided information of nearby businesses locations so that I could quickly purchase some needed items. There were no problems with noise in the building or from traffic outside. I was offered a late check out time, which was needed. I felt safe and rested well.

Hotel was clean. Room was clean. The property is old but not run down. Everything worked. A good overnite rest stop. Only had contact with staff and check in and check out. Staff was friendly and courteous and effecient.
