Sehr schöne ruhige Lage am Ganges. Das Zimmer war groß, sehr komfortabel und hatte sehr bequeme Betten. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich bin rundum zufrieden und komme gerne wieder. Die Hotelanlage ist äußerst empfehlenswert. Auch das Restaurant gibt keinen Anlass für Beanstandungen

Bellissimo resort incastonato nella valle del Gange, tra montagne e il fiume sacro. Zone comuni molto curate, stanza spaziosa e pulita, personale esageratamente gentile. Dotato di SPA e di una zona per la pratica dello yoga. Mia moglie (praticante piuttosto brava) ha fatto un’ora con l’istruttore yoga della struttura e me lo ha definito come bravissimo. Dopo i giorni di Rajasthan rumoroso ed inquinato, la sosta a Taj Rishikesh è stato una splendida boccata d’aria fresca, una necessaria dose di pace e serenità.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and had a lovely stay, particularly appreciating the delightful pubble beach pizza. The exceptional staff member, Akshay, crafted a remarkable drink with fresh leaves, making it an outstanding experience!

Serene - calm - extraordinary experience- very peaceful - the service here is top class -& so was the Kashmiri & Pahadi food at the restaurant- I had goshtaba after 10 years ( When I was in Kashmir ) brought back memories !! Chef.- Sanjay Chef- Anil Jay Prakash, Ravindra and Deepak Front desk was also very kind and helpful - Karishma in particular.

Amazing experience!! Set on the banks of the river Ganga, the vista is panoramic and beautiful. The ambience and the setting is tranquil and we are already looking at dates for our next break here. Being away from the hub of main Rishikesh is a USP for sure. Highlights for me: 1. Personalised Ganga Aarti done at the resort. It’s an interactive experience and way better than the one in Rishikesh where you just glimpse the Ganga. 2. The morning yoga session - Shivani is fantastic and caters to every level including beginners. 3. The sound healing session - Again by Shivani. Was fantastic. Had the most restorative sleep. 4. Pahadi hi tea - Simple yet delicious with local dance group and art work on display. 5. Meditation session. The above are complimentary!! 6. Riverside cafe - local cuisine. Never have I ever had a better chicken curry and the daal is to die for. Special mention- Jayprakash & Akshay - wonderful hosts who made good recommendations on the ordering and the food. They even gave us a taste of what we had not ordered. Hence we ended up every night at the cafe for dinner. Definitely recommend. I am a huge Taj fan as I always find the ethos good & the staff from the welcome party of the priest and Aarti until you depart where again you are given a souvenir and Aarti were extraordinary. They were genuinely interested in us having a good time and the suggestions given were well worth it

Had a fabulous time at Taj Rishikesh. The hospitality of the staff was excellent. The location, property, Food was fabulous.Tried a few interesting activities. One of them was star Gazing by Aryan. It was informative and interesting. Dev Prayag trip with Azad was a great experience.Would definitely recommend both activities. Special mention about Neelam, Pankaj and Vijayendra.Thank you to entire staff for making it so memorable for us.

One of the best property we visited so far. Great hospitality ***** with soothing sound of Ganges surrounded by mountains. Can’t ask for more for a perfect location for family outing. Everyone from the staff was happy to help always and they took extra care for our kids.

An incredibly hostel. Location is superbly situated on the Ganges, and the construction is aesthetically built into the landscape. The main structure (where we stayed) is surrounded by smaller outbuildings with further accommodation nearer the river and spa. The room was very comfortable with a balcony and large bathroom (no bath, but big shower). The restaurant (everyone eats there as nothing else nearby) is good with a large selection of Indian and western food. Likewise at breakfast which is sumptuous, and plentiful. The spa is very nice too, and apart from some treatments we had (my partner thought they were better than I did), there are many meditation and yoga sessions on a complimentary basis. A decent afternoon tea is also complimentary. The service was exceptional (apart from our experience with reception staff who I thought were officious and with poor English to understand us). The restaurant staff couldn’t have done more from the Executive chef who visited us several times, to the senior head waiters down to the individual waiters. All were so pleasant, so courteous, so professional and so warm. A special call out to the housekeeping staff. We never met them (a sign of a good hotel), but there cleaning of the bedrooms and turndown service were exceptional. Often overlooked in reviews, a special mention out goes to them, and I hope the hotel read this and pass this on to them. So, apart from the small niggle about reception staff, it was a perfect place to stay and one of the top 10 resorts I’ve stayed in after more than 50 years of world travel.

What can I say? One of the best places I have been to. Me and my wife went there after visiting Jim corbett. We were welcomed by pleasant staff. Our room had a full view of river Gangaji. Whole atmosphere was magical. Staff in the hotel had small personal stories to share. Chef shared few of his secret recipes. We went to triveni sangam one day and river rafting the other day. Both experiences were out of the world. There is Ganga arti everyday on the bank of the river. On the day of departure we were given bottled ganga water and small rudraksha mala. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

My daughter visited in jan 24 at taj rishikesh .The service provided was truly excellent, with a staff that was both friendly and helpful. The location, situated on the banks of the majestic Ganges, was truly awe-inspiring. The private Ganga Aarti experience was a serene and ethereal event, evoking a sense of peace and divinity. The rooms and the entire property were impeccably clean, leaving a lasting impression of immaculateness. The room service was nothing short of exceptional, delivering prompt and efficient service. The culinary offerings were of a very high standard, with the millet pizza standing out as particularly delicious. I would like to extend a special thanks to Utkarsh for graciously hosting us and providing us with invaluable information throughout our stay.

The resort is expensive but worth every penny . It is far away from Rishikesh town and superbly located on the banks of the Ganges . Our rooms overlooked the river as did the restaurant where we enjoyed breakfast and lunch . The staff is extremely knowledgeable about local mythology and folklore , very friendly and attentive to all our needs . Rooms are large and have all modern amenities .

My experience was very pleasant. The staff is very welcoming and the food at restaurant was delicious. Mr. Akshay and Jai Prakash were very sweet and helpful. My stay was very smooth and I enjoyed a lot. Bhupinder bhaiya was also very kind and told us about the flora and fauna around. This is was a memorable trip and the property was beautiful and the hospitality of the staff was the best.

I was here with my sister for Ganga maa darshan and stayed for two days. Good property and courteous staff. Excellent food. The Ganga Aarthi was excellent and it is best for people with disability or who do not like large crowd. Keep up the good work.
