Great hotel. Nice location. Good staff. Love the breakfast

I stayed in room 624 on Sunday Sept 24th. Our toilet was clogged. We called the front desk who advised that there was no maintenance there that night but they would deliver a plunger to our room. We received the plunger and did attempt to vigorously plunge the toilet to no avail. I called the front desk to request a different room and was told there were none available. We had a party of 2 adults and 3 children in a porta-potty situation. DIGUSTING!

The water pressure was so bad it was useless to try and wash my hair. The tub wouldn’t drain making me shower in ankle deep water. The headboard was loose and hanging sideways. If anyone had cleaned to tub they would have noticed the clog so ewww! We called twice for extra towels. Our flight was canceled and I called for three hours and no one answered. This meant I was charged a no show fee. I have called and emailed a so called manager, but no one seems to know where she is. I’ve never had a bad Hampton stay until this trip. Lots of other things that would’ve been inconvenient if the rest of it had been okay like no place to charge my phone near the bed. The elevators were slow and clunky so I climbed five flights a couple time a day. Such a shame since it’s super close to Salem and Boston!

The stench in my room was horrible! I went down to the front desk to ask for a different room and they told me they could not provide one. He told me they would "freshen up" the room. They changed the sheets, the room still stunk. Also the porch is COVERED in BEES. You cant even sit out there!

Check in was fine, nothing bad to report. Got to the room and upon inspecting the bed I found a bed bug under the mattress cover. Immediately called the front desk and asked for a refund. The manager offered to switch my room but I opted to leave. Refund was granted same day.

My room srunk so bad i asked for a differnet room. There were no others. They said theybwould "freshen" the room up. It still stunk. Bees all over the back sitting area could not even eat out there or sit. Not worth the money spent. At all.
