特里姆爾之家民宿(Trimmer House B&B)

My wife and I drove up to the Finger Lakes to enjoy local wineries, spirits and eateries. For 3 nights we appreciated the luxury of the 2nd floor David/Ada suite which offered a private covered balcony that we enjoyed each evening. The Innkeeper, Susie, is the gem of the home...her culinary skills are creative and top notch; nothing basic or simple from her kitchen! She was immediately responsive to our inquiries about area eateries/attractions, as she is also a local tourism expert. We recommend the charm of this B&B highly, you will not be disappointed!

This is a lovely home in a great location, very close to downtown shops and restaurants. We stayed in Grace's Room which was very spacious and had a comfortable bed. The breakfasts here are outstanding, each one a culinary adventure. They are served promptly at 9 a.m. and kept warm for you if you come down later. Be aware that there is no innkeeper on site, so after breakfast is served there is no one else around other than guests. Check-in is done by text, with instructions on the code for the front door. Most of the restaurants in Penn Yan are pubs, which tend to be very noisy. The 18th Amendment is a quieter place to dine. Geneva offers better dining - check out Port Cafe and Sapalta.

What a great visit to the guest house at the Trimmer House. The house is comfortable and we got to have the benefits of a house to ourselves and our friends and the plus of having coffee and breakfast delivered or walking next door to the main house. The location is great. We walked to town to shop and have lunch and also walk the outlet trail. The location is also great for the wineries and breweries around Keuka and Seneca. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning drinking coffee and watching the horse and buggies go by. The real gem was our host Suzy. Her flair in the kitchen, knowledge of the area, and pleasant personality enhanced our visit. We will be back!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in Sept 2022 at Trimmer House. It's a beautiful home with lovely woodwork and furnishings. Very centrally located in Penn Yan, it's convenient to nearby restaurants and activities. Our room was very comfortable to. Special thanks to Suzy who prepared delicious breakfasts for us, and in particular her efforts to help me have a great breakfast in spite of being gluten intolerant. Thanks!

My family and I have stayed in B&Bs, Airbnb's, VRBO's on three continents over many years and have never found as warm and welcoming and comfortable a setting as we did at the Trimmer House. We stayed in the perfectly comfortable Guest House and had all the space and conveniences we could want. And we enjoyed the spectacular breakfasts each morning, prepared with great care and culinary expertise. Book a stay at the Trimmer House and you will be equally pleased.

Beautiful and very well kept old home with wonderful innkeepers. The room was very comfortable. Christi and Jim are so nice and they fix a fabulous breakfast. They are very knowledgeable about the beautiful Finger Lakes. We had a GREAT visit!
