A fabulous little hotel. Great staff, nothing too much trouble for them. Helpful with thier local knowledge. Great breakfast and great service. Total friendly place at a great price. Situated right on the front and most of the rooms have sea views. Photos are the views from my room. Will definitely be returning.

Great location, lovely staff & great breakfast. Parking is hit and miss but there are plenty of Car Parks in the area if needed. Great location for all resteraunts and pubs. Very close to railway station and airports in Penzance. Not ieal for long stay but great B&B for a transfer to IOS.

Superb hosts, very nice room, excellent breakfast & first class decaff coffee! We had to postpone our booking due to ill health. They were not just understanding but very sympathetic. Definitely a reason to avoid *********** as we'd have lost our money if we'd booked with them

We had a lovely 2 night stay at The Stanley, in a comfortable, clean, and spacious room, with a lovely sea view (even from the bathroom). The gentleman was very friendly and accommodating, and we were also greeted by Bob and Molly (the dogs). Breakfast was good, again with a lovely sea view. The free parking at the front of the property was "interesting" (a little chaotic) but served us very well. Excellently placed in Penzance, easy walking to bars, restaurants etc, and good access to visit other nearby attractions. We would happily stay again.

One night stay before going to Isles of Scilly. Excellent, prompt communication from Kate when we had to amend our booking because of the train strikes. Parking a little bit tight. Pretty patio area with lots of colourful pots. Greeted by Bob the dog on arrival who guided us to Reception. I believe it was Roy who welcomed us and the helpful gardener took our luggage up to Room 8, twin on top floor. Stairs are steep and narrow but Roy said we could use fire escape stairs which were much easier. Ordered our breakfast from a wide range of choices, nothing too much trouble. Room is compact but spotlessly clean and freshly decorated in soft blue/greys with clever use of mirrors so seemed larger. No sea view here, a Velux skylight (stand on bed to open) but relatively quiet. A small funfair was taking place outside, don’t think it’s permanent and it finished promptly around 11. Decent sized TV, proper hairdryer, fluffy bath sheets, complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, good WiFi reception. A short walk to several local eateries. Small but comfy beds. Shower worked perfectly. Breakfast served in room facing sea front, generous portions. Would definitely stay here again if visiting IOS.

View across the bay from our room and the dining room is amazing, the room was clean and the bed comfortable and the breakfast was good and plentiful. They advertise ample free parking but whilst we were there it was a farce.!! We stayed for four days, three nights and when we arrived the parking area was almost full with about 10 cars parked in all sorts of places and alignments leaving just two spaces in the middle in tandem so we had no choice but to park there blocking several cars in and eventually being blocked in ourselves. The gentleman inside told us it wasn't a problem as the cars were all there's, what ever that meant.?? During our stay none of those 10 cars moved and early one morning we had a knock at the room door asking us to move our car so someone could get out and on the next day we went for a walk around Penzance early one morning to find we were blocked in when we returned and couldn't get out. It took about half an hour to find out it was on of the clearers who did move it. I have to say the whole matter of parking at this B&B is a total farce and needs to be sorted, it shouldn't inconvenience paying guests.
