蒙特灣度假屋 - 限成人(Monte Bay Retreat Villa)

We are so glad a room became available last minute as our stay in this retreat made our trip to Monte***** even more special. Sasha is a great host , was so knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations. We enjoyed a traditional welcome drink with some fresh elderflower that I wish I could take home in barrels. The room was huge, spotless and so well designed, the entire hotel is the same. If you stay here, you have to try the food. Nicoli is the chef and incredibly talented, we had a private meal overlooking the bay and it was incredible, the breakfast was outstanding. The pool overlooking the bay is incredible but as we stayed late September it was too cold to properly swim. I’m struggling to find a fault to make this review seem neutral but all we can say is thank you for an incredible stay!

Monte Bay Retreat is a beautiful family run Boutique Hotel in Perast. My Husband and I stayed for 3 nights before exploring more of Monte*****. We had a delightful time relaxing into our holiday at this gorgeous little hotel. Owner and Host Saša gave us a very warm welcome. He showed us around our beautiful room (Lady of the Rock) and later settled us by the infinity pool with a refreshing homemade lemonade welcome drink. The hotel has been a labour of love for Saša as he has painstakingly restored the grand building into an impressive space with mod cons such as Japanese toilets, showers with mood lighting and free standing bathtubs (with jaw dropping views!) All of the staff at Monte Bay are wonderful, however Kristijan and Ivan (bar and wait staff) were incredibly sweet, accommodating and did everything they could to make sure we were having the best time. Their level of care and sincerity is rare to find, and it was a delight to be in their company. My Husband and I are both vegan and I was a little concerned about how well we would eat as I’m aware that Monte***** isn’t particularly vegan friendly. We needn’t have worried. We spoke to Chef Nikola and every morning we indulged in delicious vegan banana bread, fresh fruit and overnight oats. We also decided to dine at the hotel on our last night and Nikola created us a bespoke vegan menu that was just wonderful and so thoughtful. Kristijan and Ivan were also on hand to make the table setting and service just right. This level of service is way above and beyond. We were truly spoiled. Perast is a beautiful quite village just 15mins drive from busy Kotor. We are so glad that we chose to stay in Perast as it’s beauty and tranquility far surpass Kotor for a relaxing break. One particular highlight was getting up at sunrise and running along the shore. Running around my local park will never be the same again! I would not hesitate coming back to Monte Bay. The setting, facilities and service make this a very memorable experience that may just spoil you for life!

Absolutely fantastic hotel. It is in magical Perast but away from the front which means you get some tranquility especially when the coaches turn up during the day. Saša was also a great host and couldn't have been more helpful. If you are planning to stay here, plan to eat in their restaurant. In particular we would recommend the tasting menu. After asking us the day before what we liked and didn't they prepared a delicious tailored meal for us. Can't wait to stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Monte Bay retreat. It really is a retreat. You have everything you need at a charming place. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The chef makes some amazing food. We had a few dinners out (thank you Sasha for the recommendation, reservations, and treats at the restaurants), but could have enjoyed all my meals here as there are many items on the menu I wanted to try. Breakfast is so good. Definitely try the banana bread! The bar and restaurant are only for the guests so it’s always a relaxing experience. The room is good sized. I loved the fun high tech touches - the rainbow lights in the shower and the toilet with many options. The bed was comfortable and the view from bed is hard to beat. The shower had one of the few rain shower heads that has great water pressure (and two other options). I appreciate the full size Rituals toiletries - good for the environment and easier for the consumer. 👍 The wood fired sauna is cute and felt great even after a hot day exploring the area. The pool is the perfect temp to cool off on a warm day - and the view of the bay! Monte Bay retreat is up above the main bayside street, but it’s about a 3 min walk (down a little hill and some steps) to get to many restaurants, shops, and boats to the island. You can also rent paddle boards & kayaks to explore the bay. Wi-Fi was good and worked throughout the property. They have vegetable gardens on property and future guests should get some tasty fresh produce. The villa itself is beautiful and well decorated. We were able to park our car at the top entrance (a few sets of stairs to get to the main building). I would definitely return to the Monte Bay Retreat for another relaxing stay in this beautiful area.

The most amazing hotel, with unbeatable views! Staff and service cannot be faulted. Spent the entire time smiling. Rooms and food were incredible. A holiday we will never forget. We will be back (again and again, no doubt!)

It was absolutely amazing. Sasha, the owner and his 2 staff members were so pleasant and nice and extremely helpful. The hotel was remodeled a few years ago from a 300 year old structure. The rooms are modern with every convenience. I loved that I could pick a color for my shower /rainfall to be. Yet they retained the stone walls in the room aligning the modern room with its location. Now, let’s talk about location: I could sit in the dining room all day just looking at the water and the mountains. So peaceful. There is a pool area built just like the most relaxing spa. It is an infinity pool so you can just hang at the edge and soak in the view. Loved that banana bread pie that everyone has raved about in their reviews. The chef is very accommodating and I had wonder meals. Perast is only a few minutes down some long stone steps. Once there you can wander the waterfront and have a good choice of restaurants. Having only 6 rooms each visitor gets the attention and service hotel guests deserve. I had just gotten off a long flight from California so the ambience and location were perfect to do as much or as little as I wanted to. I would go back in a heartbeat

We werden geweldig ontvangen door Sasha de eigenaar. Na het inchecken, werden we uitgenodigd om een home-made Raki te drinken met hem bij het zwembad. Vanuit het zwembad heb een adembenemend uitzicht op de Lady of the Rock en het andere eilandje. Verder kijk je ook neer op het pitoreske plaatsje Perast. We sliepen in de kamer "Lady of the Rock", een ruime kamer met geweldige views, een heerlijk bad en leuke tech-snufjes zoals afstandbediening voor de WC bril en led verlichting in de douche. Sasha is een fijne persoonlijkheid en goede host. Hij weet wat het is om mensen het naar de zin te maken! Ook het ontbijt was heerlijk en werd super mooi opgediend. 11 out of 10 wat ons betreft :)

Un séjour inoubliable. Très bon accueil, hôte toujours disponible et prêt à nous donner de bons plans. Vue incroyable. On recommande de manger en soirée sur place près de la piscine. La chambre était très spacieuse, douche avec luminotherapie. Un petit paradis.
