Despite having a confirmation of our reservation made a month+ in advance, after driving 7 hours to attend a wedding, when we arrived at 11:03pm at Days Inn Perryville, on 5/28/2022, the door was locked and a small note with instructions to call the desk person. When she eventually appeared, after taking 15 minutes to sign on and browse the hotel site, she informed us that our reservation "had been cancelled". She then took another 10 minutes to browse the hotel site. She told us that the hotel was completely full with no vacancies. She offered no assistance in finding another hotel close by. Instead, at 11:30pm on a busy Memorial Day weekend, we were forced to find another hotel. We contacted a Wyndham Travelodge who was able to locate our confirmation information at Days Inn. Unfortunately, Travelodge also did not have any vacancies. We eventually were able to find another hotel but it was so late that the next day was ruined because we only had 4 hours of sleep before driving another 7 hours.
