環境非常好，位置很好找，就在湖邊，早餐種類就是典型的英式早餐。離市中心就三四公里，開車十分鐘左右就到了，很方便，是高地之行的很好的選擇。

房間比較緊湊，連放個休息的沙發位置都沒有，但是其他方面還是不錯的，房間傢俱的款式，房間裝飾及配色均花了些心思，早餐不是自助是點餐，吧枱有24小時自助的咖啡機，房間放置了不少飲料和小吃，除了房間小點其他都很不錯。

Absolutely shocking! Don’t waste your money. Our room was tiny & you couldn’t open the bathroom door fully because the chairs were in the way. I really felt like the best rooms were given to the coach party guests & not the independent (or maybe English) travellers. The lounge was the only area to take drinks but unlike what’s advertised, the cosy fires consisted of electric plug in fake wood burners & worn, smelly sofas. (See photos) The restaurant was shockingly overbooked & understocked. We couldn’t get a decent meal on either night we stayed & felt they were more interested in the amount of covers v the quality. For a ‘celebrated’ seafood restaurant, to have very little seafood on the first night & even less, almost none on the second was disgusting. The bar staff were very rude & the manager nowhere to be found even though we asked many times to speak to them (I don’t like leaving a bad review before talking face to face). This hotel felt like theme park for the overseas coach parties and not what we wanted at all. At £250 a night??? Shockingly bad. If you want an authentic highland hotel, try the Altnahrra Hotel. A fraction of the price and the other end of the scale. Absolutely ruined our holiday at this dump

真的很棒的酒店。周圍最便宜,所以當人們預訂便宜的酒店並抱怨這不是5*😂時,不要真正得到。位置很棒。湖很漂亮。工作人員真的很好。房間有你需要的一切,相當寬敞。食物真的很好,雖然有點貴,但仍然很好的份量。

格倫科峽谷其實沒有一個固定的景點，從lomond湖過來，進入山區后，每一個viewpoint就是景點，一路有兩個visit center，景色還不如view point。然而格倫科峽谷中最美景點其實就在這家酒店。酒店坐落在湖中半島上，半島高出湖麪10多米吧，山山水水，大片風鈴草，隱匿在山水間的酒店，一幅世外桃源的畫麪。沿半島走一圈，拍拍照，還可以看夕陽西下，非常享受。免費停車場，房間大小過的去，裏面的設施不錯，乾淨衛生。服務熱情，早餐也不錯。二層小樓，沒電梯。

收費四五英鎊每晚的價格起步…這是一家位於蘇格蘭高地屬於西邊的古堡酒店。從公共區域的角度來看都做得很好，無可挑剔。但從客房的角度來看…性價比就顯而易見地超低了。設施陳舊就不在話下了，要求一個加濕器…竟然來了一台二十年前出品的吹風機，嘈得完全沒法接受之餘，還完全沒有加濕的效果。淋浴間對客人的體型是有非常嚴格要求的，而且個人覺得水壓是可以有再進一步的提升以及改善空間的。值得稱讚的一點是浴室裏的洗髮水、護髮素、沐浴露和肥皂…都有兩個球皇室認證，質量也是扛扛的。洗臉盆的冷熱水裝置是傳統分離式的，就是那種你要不就冷水、要不就熱水，反正就不能是溫水。客房內的沙發是布藝，弊端就是你看不見是否帶虱子、是否乾淨，反正就是舊得讓人根本不想去坐它。地毯不起毛，意思就是說 “很有年代感”。好了，講一下公共區域部分吧：餐廳出品還是相當有水準的，有米其林的標準，不管是正餐還是早餐…都相當不錯，唯獨咖啡的質量欠佳。服務人員熱情、有禮、待客認真、臉帶微笑。室內公共區域裏有好幾個休閑的會客廳連餐廳，都極盡豪華、舒適、寫意、安逸，沒什麼可挑剔的了。室外的樹林、小徑都有為數不少的麪積 “嚴重” 有待改善，例如：綠化工程等。最後補充一點：停車是免費的，畢竟業主Mr. Chai是一個東南亞籍的華人，古堡的地皮有5000英畝的佔地麪積…如果停車還要收費的話…那也太摳門兒了吧。總的來說…你可以說它是古歐洲風，但個人覺得古歐洲風不一定就不需要更新或者刷新設施與傢具吧。尤其那麼大的佔地麪積，如果在綠化方面做得欠佳的話…那實在是應了一句老話 “金玉其外，敗絮其中”。

The location is remote but the environment of this location is quiet. Therefore, it is still valuable to live at the place. We have taken the dinner at the centre. All the foods were delicious and excellent and the price was quite reasonable. I will select this accommodation if we go to highland again.
