This is an amazing place to stay! Front desk is an absolute saving grace for the late workers like myself ! Faith has amazing spirits. Donishia goes above and beyond to help anyone who needs it. Tiffany is the sweetest person ever! Carter is professional and listens to the needs of the customers !

Been staying at woodsprings suites for awhile and from the day I walked in the doors I was greeted with pure professionalism and the most welcoming front desk staff. When I had an issue with my room management didn't waste a second getting this resolved for me. The staff here go above and beyond to make sure your experience is the best from the gm to the on site Manger and the front desk staff

The staff are amazing the room was clean the parking lot was always clean ... Never had a problem when needing clean sheets and towels. When there is an issue with anything in the room the maintenance man Thomas is right there to help. It is a great location.

Was not in the room for more than an hour and roaches started crawling on the walls. I left immediately, and was told I was going to need to call back on Monday because the general manager would not be back until then to talk about the possibility of a refund. if I find bugs I should I have to talk about the possibility of a refund. The refund should be automatic. Disgusting hotel and abysmal service.

We processed our payment and went to our room. After leaving the lobby we were immediately concerned. The place smelled horrible. There were babies in diapers and women in robes in the hallway. The floors were filthy. When we entered our room it reeked of *********. The walls were filthy. The drains had hair and debris in them. There were no curtains, an electrical outlet that had smoke damage around it and was burnt out, the refrigerator was covered in rusty spots, and the walls had stains of liquids running down them. There was no furniture other than the bed, not even a lamp. Feeling scared but stuck we thought we’d spend 1 night, and get out to find a new place in the morning. When I pulled the sheets back the sheets had hair on them. We went and checked out. Waiting for our ride in the parking lot we saw druggies in cars and my husband was propositioned!!! Go directly to another hotel, do not pass go, do not collect $200.

My stay at Woodspring suites was good. The manager Donishia is amazing. She makes it her priority to make Ethel guest feel welcome. When you walk into the building and she is at the front she welcomes you with a smile and a nice conversation. If you need to speak with her she makes herself available and if you have a problem with anything she makes it her priority to take care of it. Thank you Donishia you made my stay great.

Amazing staff and service all around. Clean facilities and well maintained. Wound up here due to serious life tragedy and trauma. They have been gracious and accommodating. One of the best experiences I've had in the almost two years I have been in the RVA area.

I just wanted to relocate from the mid west. I came here to colonial heights from extended stay in Richmond and thus far this place was much better . The extended stay always had a lot of drama. The Extended Stay was more expensive as well.

Me and my family came to this location in April while we are waiting for housing and so far, we have had a pretty good experience. When we first arrived there were some guests that were a pretty noisy, but the GM and the manager asked them to leave as they were disruptive to other guest at times. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous to the guest at the hotel. They only have one actual Maid i think her name is Maggie so when she is off or leaves for the day the rest of the housekeeping duties falls on the GM, Managers, Front desk employee and the maintenance person which in my opinion is wrong they should hire more staff. The rooms are decent and can tell the carpet is the original carpet from when the hotel was built so it's obvious it needs to be changed not just for safety and health reasons, but it is way out of date. when something did break in my room (Microwave) the maintenance person (Thomas) came right away and fixed it. on a really warm day there is a slight smell in the hallways especially if dog owners walk their dogs and come back inside but again that is just the old carpet that is trapping in smells and scents. Overall, it has been a pleasurable experience, the rooms need to be updated as well as the hallways pretty much the building could use a more modern look. They need more housekeeping staff and maybe a bench or gazebo or something for guest or families to sit at on a nice day.
