Would give 0 if I could. I stayed here from 20th August 2024 until 17th September 2024 in a studio. Upon arrival I noticed the images on the website are older and the hotel was not in the best condition, however, with the cheap prices this is to be expected. The pool bar was also closed the entire duration of my stay. My air-conditioning did turn on however barely made a difference, not falling below 27°C the entire first week. I did not tell the reception at first as I assumed that, like everything else in this hotel, it was just old and in need of replacement and all rooms would be the same. There were a few minor problems (electric cut out etc.) and one of the men from reception came up to fix the fuse, I mentioned the A.C and he told me this was not normal and would have somebody come to look at it. After a few days nobody had came to check it so I went back down to reception, where I was told someone would be sent in the morning. The next afternoon, someone came to look at it, for about 1 second and said he would send someone else to fix it, then left. A couple of days later I went to stay a couple of nights Limassol (a different city), upon my return the air conditioning was still not working properly. Now 2 weeks after I was first told it would be fixed, I went and asked the manager, she send 2 people straight away and they fixed it within seconds. Considering it was such an easy fix and the maintenance people had been around my entire stay so far, I was wondering why it took 2 weeks and me speaking to 4 different people for someone to actually fix it (3 weeks into my 4 week stay). While on the way from reception to my room with a maintenance lady stopped, pulled a plaster off her foot and threw it on the floor less than a metre away from a bin (photo attached). Firstly, this is disgusting in anyway, however, right in front of a guest just shows the lack of respect for hygiene from staff in this hotel. A week later, this plaster was still there on the floor (also attached). One evening I saw a mouse running round in my room (photo attached), although I’m sure good hygiene would help, I understand they are small and can get in through small spaces. However, I am seriously unhappy with how this situation was dealt with, or should I say not dealt with. I went down to reception and told the man, to which he shrugged his shoulders and said “there’s nothing I can do”. I clearly was unhappy with this response so he elaborated saying “we’re fully booked and I’m the only person working, so I can’t help you, it’s not a lion, you can leave it until tomorrow”. This response is not only rude, but unacceptable and lazy, it is the hotel’s responsibility to sort this out and not expect a guest to cook, eat and sleep in a room with a mouse running around. The mouse could have diseases, excrete and urinate in my room, as well as chew and damage my things. I went back and asked if he could at lease get a broom or something to shoo it out onto the balcony,
