Me and my family stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and based on other reviews, we were fortunate enough to receive rooms that were on the cleaner side. However, the rooms were still a bit rundown, especially the bathrooms. The location was beautiful and quiet, and is great if you want a more relaxed atmosphere, away from the booming nightlife. However, the most memorable part (in a bad way) of this trip will be the older European couple who will appear like they are the owners of this resort. DO NOT LET THEM FOOL YOU. They are extremely rude to the staff, and any guests who are not “farangs” (westerners), and will patrol and stare at everyone from 7am till around 9pm through the breakfast area, the pool area, and the beach. If they did not see you check in, they will follow you to your room, and ask you whether you’re from the hotel and continue to question you as to what time you checked in and why they haven’t seen you yet. They also collect money from guests who are not from the hotel and sit on the hotel’s sunbeds, which is fair. However, they are not employed by the hotel at all and it is questionable as to what they do with the money they collect from these sunbeds. We are not the only guests to experience their rudeness (I am half German and half Thai and came with my Thai family), but other families have also expressed discomfort and irritation at the hands of this couple. So much so, that quite a few of the guests have also asked the staff about whether this couple are really the owners. If the owner or management of this resort happens to see this review, I would strongly suggest asking this couple to take a step back and to allow other guests to enjoy their time at the resort. I also recommend any guests who are confronted by them, to ask them to back off. Beyond that, the staff were lovely but seemed a little confused. Although I suspect that their confusion comes from being ordered around by this couple who are guests, but pretend to be owners.
We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel staff were all amazing and very helpful. They collected us from the pier with our bags and carried them directly to the room, and the same leaving the island. The hotel is all individual tree top cabins. This can be a hike/long walk up a hill to the room depending on which one you stay in. The hotel is located on the beach with a private beach which is lovely. You can walk across the beach for 3 minutes to the main path around Phi Phi. 5 minute walk from the hotel to restaurants/shops. Taking 15 minutes to walk to the pier. Or you can get a tail boat taxi directly from the hotel beach to take you around the island or day trips. The hotel’s breakfast was 5/10. The average buffet style breakfast. The pool bar doesn’t exist when we were there and doesn’t look like it has been open in a long time. The rooms were cleaned everyday. I would not recommend the hotel for young children or people with reduced mobility.
The team were generally pretty good, there when you needed them but also out of your way when you were relaxing. We had the Deluxe suite Seaview and the room itself was great, clean and ready to go. Balcony view was nothing short of spectacular. The bathroom whilst useful had one of the worst patch jobs I have seen, not a tradie but I could have done a better patch of the bath. The other item on walking into the room was the sheer volume of rules which also backed up at the pool. Can only assume they have had some trouble with guests in the past but have noticed on Phi Phi everywhere likes lots of rules. The beach restaurant was immaculate and nothing like a meal on the sand with a view second to none. Short walk to all the activities on the island and have to recommend the massage on site.
I stayed here with my partner on the 6th of March 2024 and was suppose to stay for two nights. I booked a twin room, the room was dated and dull and not as glamourous as portrayed on the website. We just accepted this. Whilst sleeping at approximately 05:00am I heard squeaking noises and shuffling above me coming from the air vents that proceeded to get louder as it got closer. I had earlier in the night noted that there was a hole in the ceiling above the head board of my bed. A rat then fell from the ceiling onto my face, obviously causing serious distress. My partner and I managed to capture the said rat on video and then approached the reception desk and realised no one was at reception despite the website stating it was open 24hours. We were forced to wait outside. At approximately 7am we spoke with a hotel worker who was setting up breakfast and showed him the video and explained what happened, he was nice and as helpful as could be and informed us the manager would come. The manager did not arrive for almost 1 hour, the situation was explained to the manager and he accepted full responsibility and apologised. He was not willing to offer a refund if we stayed in the hotel in a different room the following night. We decided to leave the Phi Phi islands instead and accepted the full refund through the booking website. This was a very distressing incident and something I did not expect to happen at a hotel that is portrayed as a luxury stay.

You can’t find a more spectacular location to stay. Our bungalow was number 505 and was on the beach front literally a stones throw to the water edge. The sand is white and water clear just as you see in the photos. Things to bear in mind. Cleanliness was not as good as expected. Under and around our bungalow there were things left behind by previous guests a lot of rubbish, slippers, towels which had been forgotten. The bathroom and shower was outdated and felt old and we didn’t dare use the outside shower as that whole area looked dirty and stained from the wildlife. I had to ask the cleaner one day for a cloth to clean the table outside on the balcony as it was stained from beverages used by guests before us. The breakfast area really was quite gross. I didn’t feel like i was eating in a clean atmosphere. Really basic things like the table cloth on the breakfast bar were stained and tatty. The bar being quite open to the outside had stains from the fauna which seemed to flow in and out at their leisure. Staff were attentive however you never saw anyone cleaning when they weren’t doing anything. Its a pity as it would make the atmosphere much more pleasant. We did encounter some problems with the verandah door not opening and it was resolved immediately. The hotel took full charge of collecting us from our previous hotel in phuket taking us to the ferry port and the boat trip to the island for 1500 baht per person also the trip from the resort by boat to the next hotel in Krabi also for 1700 baht per person. This service is a real benefit because otherwise you have to take several boats and taxis and avoid all the hassle! Also another thing which was fabulous and my highlight of my entire trip to Thailand was the private long boat tour to ko phi phi leh. Not for the visit to Maya beach (however it was included) but for the swimming in the lagoon and snorkeling experience. That was worth every baht! You pay for the boat up to 4 ppl and its 2080 baht for 4 hours. Highly recommended!
We are a couple in our 40s from Scotland. This hotel deserves more than 3 stars. The staff are so helpful and we got an upgrade to a superior hut as it was my 40th birthday. This is a very peaceful secluded area of phi phi island and good to enjoy the slower life. The food was delicious. There are only a few bars and restaurants in walking distance and these all stop serving at 10pm. The air conditioning is also not the best in the room as with them being huts it’s like a sauna when you first walk in. Please pack plenty of mosquito repellent as I had so many bites when I stayed here. We came over in the ferry and left our luggage back in our Phuket hotel, I would highly recommend bringing a small bag only here as it’s all boat transport. Apart from the small negatives I would not hesitate in returning to this tranquil hotel. Take a boat trip round the rest of the island. Bring Bahts too as there is no atm in this part. Simply stunning location
訪訪客My partner and myself spent a few nights on the island at one of the small cottages. Perfect for couples and those having a short stay on the island. They are located about a 10 minute walk from the main area of bars and restaurants, however, at night walking back, its always a peaceful, enjoyable trip from the views. The cottages provide the exact facilities required and were sweet and cosy. Central enough to all the action and has the most gorgeous views!
訪訪客We were booked into a standard room by our travel agent - we upgraded as the standard was a tiny room with shower over the toilet. Backpackers style. The superior room, like in above photo was lovely but from street level was 229 steps up a hill. Room was lovely and view was fantastic. Shower had no pressure at all so very difficult to wash hair or clean yourself. Staff were very helpful however and friendly and carried our bags up and down all the steps when we arrived and departed. Cheap to stay at and the upgrade for 2 nights was only approx $25 NZD so well worth it.
訪訪客NOT FOR FAMILYS OR COUPLES!!! WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND TO YOUNG GROUPS WHO DONT CARE OF THE ROOMS. I stayed here 6 years ago and it was quite a nice place, so I decided to come back with my partner. Upon walking to the hotel, there's a bridge with what I can only describe as a sewer which leads directly to the sea, it turns your stomach before you even enter the resort. We was welcomed by a lady on reception who checked us in. I had wrote to them the day early to ask if a staff member could meet us at the port to help with bags and show us directions to the resort as I forgot the way. They confirmed someone would meet us, I sent them my arrival time and no one showed up. And what a shock, every guest for the next 2 days we're complaining the same at reception. Anyway, onto the room. I had booked a deluxe bungalow (photos attached). It was full of dead bugs, it hadn't been cleaned in months, the bed sheets were stained, and the 'garden view' was a small area full of rubbish. To make it even better, it was on the sewer stream too. A lizard ran into my room when I opened the door, my partner had to remove 3 long centipede things from the room on the first day. The night time the entire bungalow, or shed we should name I, was rattling with the booming music til 4am from the beach, also not advertised... I complained to TRIP.COM who I booked the hotel with, who were also extremely useless in helping me, so I went to the reception and complained to the lady who said, the entire resort is noisy... ??? Why not state on your website it's for young kids who want to get drunk all holiday then??? Anyway, we was DOWNGRADED to a hotel room above the lobby. Exactly the same thing, dirty showers, stained bed sheets, dirty fridge, full of dead spiders. The noise was slightly less as that was the ONLY room with double glazed windows. I managed to stay 3 nights because everywhere else on the island was fully booked. My stay was supposed to be 5 nights. I'm 30 years old, me and my partner live in Magaluf, so we're are FAR from fussy. But this place is beyond a joke. The lady laughed at me when checking out early and didn't even ask why or apologie or offer a refund for my stay. One last thing, I saw a family try check in. The lady had a new born baby and a girl ages around 3/4yrs. There room had been cancelled without knowledge and was stood there for over an hour crying and upset as they had no where to stay. WITH A NEW BORN BABY!!!!!!!! I Think this was resolved but I highly doubt they got any sleep what so ever. If you want your trip to phi phi to be ruined, I advise staying here. If not, check out the opposite side of the island, the hotels are the same price and 10x higher standards.
A full in depth review of the hotel covering the ins and outs of location, pool, rooms, staff and food. As always I will break it down into Positives, Things to be aware of and Negatives. Positives: The Pool and view is stunningly beautiful, totally instagram worthy. You can see the whole bay with boats coming in and out all day and the pool is generally quiet all the time, we never not had a bed and while the pool is small it was never crowded and we visited during peak season. The Staff are lovely and super friendly, the lady who helps with the boat tickets at the front is always happy to help you and show you whatever you need to There's cats and that's enough to sell it to me tbh The location has good and bad points - it's out the way so it isn't based in the centre so for me this was a positive. It's also worth noting there isn't many hotels In the centre with a pool as they are mainly hostels unless you want to stay at Ibiza House which quite frankly will give you aids by even looking at that pool and they play music the sound level of jet planes until 3am every night. I also think it is unfair for some reviewers to have mentioned that the few hundred metres up to the hotel looks like a dump. There has been a tsunami, it's evident and peoples lives were ruined and we're in a jungle. Yes it looks a bit like a dumping site but it's perfectly safe and I don't think that's anything to do with the hotel. There also were hardly any mosquitoes and I am someone who mosquitos like to feast on more than a Las Vegas all you can eat buffet, I only got bit twice. The rooms were clean and spacious for two people and the shower was warm and powerful although sometimes it didn't work but we assume that at some points in the day it doesn't. The room included was a safe, fridge and hairdryer along with hangers Things to be aware of/Negatives: This section is something you may find negative you may not mind about, it's up for interpretation. The room was very dark, it's dark wood so not a lot of light got in which made it hard to get ready etc, I did go out several times looking like an only way is Essex cast member because I couldn't see how to do my make up properly. The lights flickered and went out quite a bit but always came back on after a few seconds. I put this down to we're in the middle of a jungle. The pool was very heavily chlorinated and I would go as far as to say over chlorinated. I think I saw some people ages ago getting ear infections so they are probably over compensating for this but you can't open your eyes underwater at all and it tastes so chlorinated but doesn't smell it so be aware and this is something they could probably fix. There is also no atmosphere at the pool, don't get me wrong I would hate for pumping music to be playing all hours but some background music would have been nice and also there is never anyone at the bar down there in the day so it's hard to get a drink. The only drink they do have however is C
